This series offers insights into the development team’s future plans and long-term vision, addressing community concerns, upcoming content, self-publishing strategies, and even tackling the EoS meme.

Tower of Fantasy Vision series: Hotta Studio shares its upcoming plans along with ToF

Now that Tower of Fantasy (ToF) is published by Perfect World Games rather than Level Infinite, the ToF team has launched a new series called Vision on YouTube, with the goal of communicating their plans to the worldwide gaming community.

We’re thrilled to embark on a fresh journey together, introducing the latest installment of our Vision series under the hashtag #ToFDev. Through this series, we aim to unveil the long-term aspirations and future strategies of our development team, keeping you, our valued players, informed every step of the way. In the initial installment, several significant figures from Hotta Studio attended, such as Sky, the Chief Designer, Quan, the Storyteller, Yuan, the Idea Architect, Chuan, the Animation Artist, and Jiang, the Shaper. They sketched out the upcoming course for Tower of Fantasy (ToF), emphasizing their dedication to extended development and international distribution, marking the beginning of this process in 2021.

Sky underscored, “The dedication of the Hotta Studio team towards the game remains unchanged,” giving confidence to the fanbase about the continuation of superior quality content and service. Now independently publishing, the team intends to enhance our experience as well as refine their publishing system, focusing on “providing lasting value and continuous growth.

Addressing Community Concerns and EoS memes

During their question-and-answer session, they tackled the primary issues raised by the community, ensuring transparency along the way. They even took on all the memes related to End of Service (EoS) regarding both the game and Hotta Studio. Contrary to some speculation, they have no immediate plans to shut down the game.

Account Transfer and Server changes

Mr. Sky recently disclosed updates regarding the servers, stating, “These changes are aimed at delivering a more reliable and enhanced gaming experience.” This update signifies a fresh stage in ToF’s evolution, and they encourage everyone to move their accounts for a seamless transition.

Content Updates and new Modes

Mr. Jiang shared details about upcoming content such as fresh storylines, maps, simulacra, and diverse game modes in future updates. Moreover, the revamped production team is focusing on enhancing translations and voice-acting. He also mentioned, “We’ll ensure an enjoyable gaming experience for every player.

Community Operations

Chuan explained that the revamped publishing team will stay connected with the ToF community, making certain that player suggestions are given due consideration and acted upon, all while organizing more thrilling events. Furthermore, she disclosed that the unique player community for the Global Server edition of ToF is a key aspect of our development strategy.

Special Events and Celebrations

Upcoming version 5.0 and Third-anniversary celebration

The team unveiled version 5.0 and announced plans for their third-year celebration, hinting that they would roll out fresh features, characters, incentives, and exciting content. Additionally, they suggested a unique surprise for the third anniversary in the Chinese server as a prelude to its comeback on the Global Server.
