Tour company that took Tammy Hembrow to Egypt apologises for hosting camel rides after influencer was slammed by animal activist – as she remains silent

As an unabashed devotee, I’d like to share that the tour agency responsible for arranging Tammy Hembrow‘s luxurious voyage to ancient Egypt has extended their regrets over a contentious camel ride they had scheduled during her stay.

On Monday, the fitness expert, aged 31, faced criticism for trying to conceal her experience of riding a camel during her visit to that particular nation.

However, content from other travellers showed Tammy quietly participating in the ride.

Tour company Aweventurer have confirmed they have now removed camel rides from their itineraries.

In response to some concerns raised, our company would like to address the camel rides during our Egypt tour. (This sentence maintains the original meaning and is written in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.)

‘While this activity was removed from the official itinerary, it still occurred.’

The representative assured, “We’re thoroughly investigating the incident and setting up measures to prevent such incidents from recurring during our future journeys.

‘Thank you for your feedback and accountability—we learn from this and push forward.’

This week, Tammy faced a strong criticism when it came to light that she took part in a camel ride and concealed the related photographs on her personal social media account.

She was seen riding on the back of a camel in content posted by other travellers on the tour.

Supporters of animal rights strongly objected to the decision and demanded responsibility from the creator of Saski sportswear.

Animal advocacy figure, @warriorforanimals, expressed opinions on multiple posts by the Australian celebrity, frequently discussing the treatment of camels within Egypt’s tourist sector.

As an advocate for animal rights, I’m really disheartened to see Tammy Hembrow riding camels, as expressed in a post he shared on Instagram.

‘I am glad the post has been removed but more needs to be done against exploitation in tourism.’

He subsequently added a comment on one of Tammy’s Egypt-related posts, expressing his polite request for her help in stopping animal exploitation within the tourism industry.

For quite some time now, I’ve been backing your efforts, particularly your advocacy for adopting a more plant-based diet in 2020. This was not only to aid environmental conservation but also to promote animal welfare.

Fans also flooded the comments section of the fit-fluencer’s posts with criticism over the act.

‘How about don’t ride a camel?!! Can’t believe it’s even on the program,’ one person angrily wrote.

Are you aware of how they’re being treated by these thoughtless tourists who seem to be taking advantage of them without any apparent justification?

A different individual expressed agreement by stating: “I encourage you not to include animals or horse-drawn carriages in your arrangements.

‘Would never visit a country with such lack for empathy or regulations on animal welfare.’

Previously, the travel company took camel rides off their tour itinerary due to the unfavorable feedback received regarding them, a decision made about several months ago.

‘News: We’ve listened to your suggestions and eliminated camel rides from our tour schedule,’ the tour agency posted on their site.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Tammy and Aweventurer for comment.
