She shared with People magazine that this year has been incredible, filled with highlights like performing in stadiums throughout the summer, writing her most heartfelt songs yet, and starting a family with her husband.

‘We are just so grateful for what’s to come and can’t wait to meet this little gift from God.’

Singer Tori, who first became known on American Idol in 2010, recently shared a video with Andre showing them at home and at the beach. The video features new music reflecting this exciting chapter in her life.

She sings about a deep connection with someone, feeling completely known and at peace when she’s with them. She describes a journey with this person, suggesting a lasting relationship and a feeling of belonging, like finding home in their embrace.

It’s just… it’s always been us, hasn’t it? We’ve seen everything together, lived through absolutely everything. Seriously, everything in between, too. And somehow, you just make everything feel… simpler. I’ve felt every emotion imaginable with you, and we’ve overcome every single challenge. Every single box? Checked. It’s like we’re meant to be, you know?

‘I’m ready for what comes next. Let’s make a baby.’

Tori first gained prominence appearing on American Idol’s ninth season in 2010.

Her first album, Unbreakable Smile, released in 2015, brought her the most attention and included the popular singles “Nobody Love,” “Should’ve Been Us,” and “Hollow.”

She’s won two Grammy Awards from five nominations. She first won in 2019 for her song “Never Alone,” which was named Best Gospel Performance/Song, and again for her album “Hiding Place,” which won Best Gospel Album.

Andre played basketball at Biola University and now coaches as an assistant at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California.
