Epic Ride: The Story Of Universal Theme Parks

A new three-part documentary series called Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks will debut on Peacock this Monday, November 17th. The series tells the story of Universal’s movie studio and theme parks in Florida and California, and looks ahead to the opening of their newest park, Epic Universe, in May 2025.

If you enjoy popular Universal franchises like Super Mario and Harry Potter, you’ll likely love the new documentary series, Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks, now streaming on Peacock. It’s a fun and informative look behind the scenes, and perfect for families planning a Universal vacation in 2026 to see what’s coming soon.

High Horse: The Black Cowboy

I just got a sneak peek at High Horse: The Black Cowboy, a new three-part documentary series hitting Peacock this Thursday, November 20th, and it’s really something. Executive produced by Jordan Peele, it dives deep into the often-overlooked history of Black cowboys and how crucial they were in building the culture and traditions of the American West. It’s a fascinating look at a heritage that deserves to be celebrated.

If you liked Westerns such as The Harder They Fall and Lawmen: Bass Reeves, you should definitely check out High Horse: The Black Cowboy on Peacock. This short docuseries – only three episodes long – is perfect for a single-night binge and is expected to quickly become one of Peacock’s most popular new shows this week.

Mr. Mercedes

If you’re looking for a gripping psychological thriller to stream, check out Mr. Mercedes on Peacock. With three seasons and 30 hour-long episodes, this suspenseful crime drama is incredibly captivating and perfect for binge-watching.

Starring Brendan Gleeson, who delivers a standout performance, Mr. Mercedes is a 2017 series from television creator David E. Kelley (known for Big Little Lies and Presumed Innocent). The show, which received a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, centers on a retired detective who becomes embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a disturbed serial killer.

Resident Alien

If you’re looking for a new show to watch on Peacock, check out Resident Alien. This funny and smart sci-fi comedy originally aired on Syfy, running for four seasons and 44 episodes starting in 2021. It finished in August 2025 after receiving very positive reviews – a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes!

Starring Alan Tudyk, who has been nominated for an Emmy twice, Resident Alien is about an alien who disguises himself as a doctor named Harry in a small town in Colorado. He’s secretly sent to Earth to destroy humanity, but as he gets to know people, he starts to question his mission.

Bel-Air

Currently, one of the most popular shows on Peacock is the drama series Bel-Air. The fourth season will begin with three new episodes released on Monday, November 24th. If you haven’t seen it yet, now’s a great time to start – the third season received a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes!

As a huge fan of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, I was so excited when Bel-Air came out! It takes everything we loved about the original – Will’s journey, the amazing Banks family, even Uncle Phil – and gives it a modern, dramatic twist. Jabari Banks is fantastic as Will, and the whole cast is incredible. If you grew up with the original like me, you absolutely have to check out Bel-Air – it’s a binge-worthy show you can find on Peacock!
