As another year comes to a close, people are still very interested in finding out which games were the most popular in the final month. December 2025 saw the usual shifts in both the number of downloads and how much money games were making.

As a mobile gaming fan, it was interesting to see how things changed in December! Some of the usual top games stayed put, but a few surprises started gaining traction, while others that were really popular in November faded a bit. Here’s a full rundown of what the global mobile games market looked like last month.

Top Mobile Games by Downloads for December 2025

Block Blast remained incredibly popular in December, achieving a remarkable 38.3 million downloads and securing the top spot. This continued its strong performance from November, solidifying its place as one of the most successful downloaded games of 2025.

Roblox regained the number two spot with 24 million downloads, moving ahead of Free Fire, which dropped to third place with 22.1 million downloads. The competition between the two games is tight, but Roblox took the lead this month after falling behind in November.

So, I checked the download charts, and “Pizza Ready!” is still hanging in there at number four with 17.5 million downloads. “Subway Surfers” rounded out the top five with 13.6 million. It’s cool to see “Solitaire Associations Journey” climbing the ranks – they jumped up to sixth with 13.1 million installs, and they’ve been gaining traction since November. Right behind them at number seven is “Vita Mahjong.”

Paper.io 2 held steady at eighth place. School Party Craft was a surprising addition at ninth, reaching 11.5 million downloads. Rounding out the top ten was Block Crazy Robo World Craft, with 11.2 million installs as it continues to gain popularity.

Just outside the top ten, Arrows – Puzzle Escape ranked eleventh, and Ludo King followed in twelfth, continuing a recent trend of decreasing popularity. Last War: Survival came in thirteenth, boosted by both downloads and strong revenue. Rounding out the top fifteen were new additions Snake Clash! and Imposter Up – Who Is the Spy?

Several popular games, including Clash Royale, My Talking Tom 2, and Tile Explorer, dropped out of the top 15 rankings in November. This happened as December brought a wave of new, more casual games that changed the leaderboard.

Top Mobile Games by Revenue for December 2025

In December, Last War: Survival continued to be the top-earning game, bringing in $140.6 million. This was a considerable increase compared to November, and the game finished the year as one of the most profitable titles available.

So, I checked the numbers, and Roblox is still holding strong at number two with around $118.4 million – pretty much the same as last month. MONOPOLY GO! stayed in third with $108.6 million, and right behind it is Whiteout Survival at $105.5 million. That game is really doing well as we head into the new year!

Royal Match came in fifth place with just under $100 million in revenue, slightly below what it earned in November. Candy Crush Saga was close behind in sixth place with $82.9 million. Honor of Kings saw a decrease in earnings for the second month in a row, bringing in $78.8 million.

Despite remaining steady at number eight, Gossip Harbor: Merge & Story continued to perform well. Kingshot entered the top ten at ninth place, earning $70.4 million, and PUBG Mobile rebounded in December with $53.2 million in revenue, indicating improvement after a slower November.

Just outside the top 10, Clash Royale earned $51.2 million, finishing in 11th place. It was followed by Coin Master and Last Z: Survival Shooter. Golden Spatula surprised many by reaching 14th – it hadn’t been on the list since February. Love and Deepspace rounded out the top 15.
