Top Mobile Games by Downloads for August 2025

As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled to share that last month, my favorite platform Roblox, climbed all the way up to number one! And guess what? It’s still holding strong with over 38.3 million downloads, solidifying its position as an unbeatable giant in mobile gaming. Block Blast! also maintained its second spot with a impressive 22 million downloads, while Subway Surfers hung tough in third place with 17.4 million downloads. It’s clear that these games are here to stay! #MobileGamingDomination

The exclamation “Pizza Ready!” finished fourth, recording around 14.8 million downloads, and the perennial favorite “Ludo King” secured fifth with slightly less, at approximately 14.4 million downloads. The latest release from Outfit7, “My Talking Tom Friends 2,” maintained its momentum in sixth place. Meanwhile, “Free Fire,” a popular battle royale game by Garena, managed to secure the seventh spot with close to 13 million downloads.

In this case, the kingdom maintained its eighth position, while Hole.io moved up to ninth place with an impressive 11.7 million users, demonstrating that casual games continue to captivate a vast audience. The top 15 also included Vita Mahjong and Tile Explorer – Triple Match, both hovering around the 11 million mark each.

In the rankings, timeless games such as “Candy Crush Saga” and “Free Fire MAX” claimed the 12th and 13th spots respectively. Meanwhile, the fresh arrival, “FPS Strike Ops,” made a strong debut at the 14th position with approximately 10.2 million downloads. Interestingly, “PUBG Mobile” managed to hold onto the 15th spot with around 9.5 million downloads.

Top Mobile Games by Revenue for August 2025

As a devoted gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but marvel at the dominance of my favorite game, Honor of Kings, once again! It’s been holding its ground on top, generating an impressive $169.9 million in revenue this month.

However, the real shocker of the month was none other than Roblox! It stormed its way into second place, raking in a staggering $157.7 million. This game has truly established itself as a formidable powerhouse, consistently ranking high in both downloads and revenue.

In a notable development, PUBG Mobile managed to secure the third position in revenue generation during the month, earning approximately $129.1 million. Close on its heels were Last War: Survival and Whiteout Survival, which ranked fourth and fifth with earnings of around $122.8 million and $120.5 million respectively.

In sixth place, ‘Royal Match’ earned approximately $114.5 million, and ‘MONOPOLY GO!’ came in seventh with nearly $100 million. ‘Candy Crush Saga’, which remains unmatched in longevity, took eighth spot with $89.8 million in revenue. Moving further down the list, ‘Pokémon GO’ reclaimed ninth place with around $69.9 million, and ‘Clash Royale’ followed closely behind in tenth with about $67.4 million.

In the sixth position was ‘Royal Match’, earning approximately $114.5 million, while ‘MONOPOLY GO!’ landed at seventh with almost $100 million. The ever-enduring ‘Candy Crush Saga’ ranked eighth with a revenue of $89.8 million. Further down the list, ‘Pokémon GO’ made its way back to ninth place with approximately $69.9 million, and ‘Clash Royale’ held tenth position with around $67.4 million.

In a stable position, Kingshot maintained its rank at number 11. On the other hand, Fate/Grand Order re-entered the high-earning group, landing at the 12th spot with approximately $53.6 million. Pokémon TCG Pocket and Gossip Harbor: Merge & Story held their ground with around $51 million each. Lastly, Coin Master wrapped up the list in the 15th position with slightly over $50.2 million.
