Top Mobile Game Publishers by Revenue for May 2025
As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but marvel at the unrivaled dominance of Tencent Games in the revenue department. In just one month – May, to be precise – they managed to rake in an astounding $539.6 million! The secret behind this consistent success lies in their long-standing game franchises and strategic live-service models, which keep players engaged and spending month after month.
As a gamer, I’m sharing some interesting insights about the gaming industry. Coming in second place is Century Games with an impressive earnings of $181.8 million. Their success can be attributed to a strong showing in simulation and strategy games. Not far behind, Dream Games managed to rake in $147.2 million, thanks mainly to the enduring popularity of their game, Royal Match.

FunPlus earned the fourth spot with $136 million, while King concluded the top five with $133.6 million, primarily due to the ongoing popularity of Candy Crush Saga. Right behind them were Playrix, Scopely, and NetEase Games – all companies that have managed to keep players engaged through their well-designed games and effective monetization tactics.
In this month’s ranking, Supercell reclaimed a spot in the top 10 with an impressive revenue of $110.3 million, fueled by the success of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. At the same time, The Pokémon Company, Moon Active, Cognosphere Pte. Ltd., Playtika, and Microfun Limited secured their places in the top 15 earners in the gaming industry.
