Interestingly, NetEase Games made a notable leap in the income rankings, hinting at their growing influence. Additionally, some fresh faces entered the scene with the launch of new games, promising an even more vibrant and competitive mobile gaming world!

In February of 2025, there were some intriguing changes in mobile game download statistics, but one constant from January remained: Azur Games continued to reign supreme, amassing an impressive 105 million downloads. Their casual and hyper-casual games are still leading the pack in popularity. BabyBus claimed the second spot with a robust 72 million downloads, demonstrating that children’s games maintain a dedicated and loyal fan base.

Additionally, companies such as Voodoo, SayGames Ltd, Supersonic Studios Ltd, Miniclip.com, and Outfit7 Limited have consistently been among the leaders in mobile gaming, each garnering millions of downloads. Their games, renowned for being highly addictive and user-friendly, manage to keep players hooked. Notably, Miniclip.com and Outfit7 Limited maintain their high standing due to popular franchises like 8 Ball Pool and Talking Tom.

What particularly piqued my interest was seeing Supercent, Inc., ABI Global Ltd, and iKame Games – Zego Studio climb into the top 10 rankings. Interestingly, Shenzhen Tencent Tianyou Technology Ltd managed to make a significant impact, despite Tencent being predominantly recognized for its lucrative high-revenue games.

Additionally, emerging companies such as Hungry Studio and FreePlay Inc. also experienced success last month. This indicates that the mobile gaming industry is constantly evolving, with established players and newcomers creating ripples.

Best Mobile Game Publishers by Revenue for February 2025

In February 2025, Shenzhen Tencent Tianyou Technology Ltd ruled the roost in mobile game revenue, raking in an astounding $545,324,149. It’s no secret that Tencent has consistently been a heavyweight player, and their games continue to reap enormous profits.

Last tournament, I found myself standing at the runner-up spot, pocketing a cool $158 million thanks to FunFly Pte. Ltd., while Century Games Pte. Ltd. took home an impressive $136 million and Dream Games wasn’t too far behind with $132 million. Strategy and puzzle games are clearly still in high demand.

Playrix brought in a solid $128 million, and Scopely, Inc. didn’t disappoint either, earning $128 million as well. These two powerhouses continue to dominate the gaming industry with their long-standing success.

It appears that NetEase has experienced a decline in revenue rankings, with a reported figure of $127,246,498. This could be due to intense competition with Tencent in the high-end gaming market where big spending players reside. Conversely, King, Roblox Corporation, and The Pokémon Company have shown impressive revenue figures: King earned $116,323,370, Roblox Corporation made $95,922,807, and The Pokémon Company raked in $91,752,726. These strong earnings could be attributed to their substantial fanbases.

Bandai Namco, Supercell, and Moon Active brought in substantial revenues of $87,916,088, $79,938,146, and $78,642,794 respectively, demonstrating their dominance in the mobile gaming market. Cognosphere Pte. Ltd., known for its popular games, earned $75,672,517. Lastly, SuperPlay rounded off the list with a revenue of $55,375,258. This shows that the mobile gaming industry remains dynamic, and these companies are at the forefront driving change.
