April saw less movement among the leading mobile game publishers compared to earlier months this year. The usual top companies remained dominant, with only slight changes in download numbers and earnings. Here’s a detailed look at the top 15 mobile game publishers for April 2026.
Top 15 Mobile Game Publishers by Download for April 2026
Miniclip continued to be the most downloaded game publisher with 113,959,594 downloads. This is nearly 10 million more downloads than they had in February and March. Their success is driven by popular games like 8 Ball Pool and Subway Surfers.
Azur Games took second place with 87,652,266 downloads, solidifying their position as a leading creator of easy-to-play casual games. VOODOO came in third with 78,502,169 downloads, and SayGames followed closely behind with 62,696,366 downloads, continuing their success with strategy and puzzle titles.
Learnings was the fifth most downloaded app, reaching 61 million downloads with its educational games for children. Following closely behind, BabyBus came in sixth place, and Outfit7 secured seventh, largely thanks to the popularity of the Talking Tom games.
Following the leader, companies like Supercent, Tencent Games, IvyMobile, CrazyLabs, and Supersonic Studios are thriving thanks to the popularity of hyper-casual games. Game District and 1SOFT are also making an impact with easy-to-play arcade and puzzle games, and Garena completes the top rankings largely due to the success of Free Fire.
Top 15 Mobile Game Publishers by Revenue for April 2026
Game popularity is always changing, but a few major publishers consistently lead the industry. They achieve this through popular games, a worldwide presence, and effective ways of generating revenue. For a long time now, the top companies haven’t changed much, and it’s no surprise that Tencent Games continues to be number one.
Wow, Tencent Games absolutely crushed it in April, bringing in over $461 million! It’s no surprise, really – Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile are consistently huge earners for them. I’ve been following the numbers, and Century Games came in second with over $223 million, which is still amazing. They seem to be doing really well with strategy and survival games that people are clearly willing to spend money on – I’ve definitely enjoyed a few of them myself!
Okay, so looking at the top mobile game companies, Dream Games landed in third place with a whopping $136.6 million! Right behind them was Playrix with $123.8 million, and Microfun Limited pulled in $118.5 million. It’s pretty clear they’re all doing so well because people are really spending money on their puzzle and casual games – they’ve definitely figured out how to make those games super engaging and profitable.
FunFly Pte. Ltd. continues to perform strongly, ranking sixth with revenue of $114,176,702. Take-Two Interactive also had a successful month, returning to the list with $113,796,240 in revenue.
King and Scopely remain top earners through their popular puzzle and board games. NetEase Games and Roblox are also consistently successful worldwide, while Supercell, HoYoverse, and Bandai Namco Entertainment continue to generate steady revenue.
