In an unexpected turn of events at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s grand wedding in Venice last Friday, I momentarily found myself teetering on the edge of graceful and not-so-graceful movement! Quite a thrilling experience to say the least!

The 74-year-old fashion designer almost slipped into the water as he boarded a water taxi, narrowly escaping a fall that would have occurred right in front of the newlywed couple and all their high-profile wedding attendees.

In the video, he can be noticed walking slightly in front of quarterback Tom Brady, who may have encountered an awkward situation with his ex-girlfriend, often referred to as the ‘wedding of the century’.

While chatting with those around him, Hilfiger stumbled and nearly fell face first into the canal.

Lip reader Nicola Hickling disclosed the words spoken by Hilfiger both before and following his fall, as well as a brief conversation he had with Brady while they were standing in line together.

According to the lip reader’s interpretation, Hilfiger reportedly spoke to Brady, who was standing right behind him in line, and supposedly said, “Feel free to follow me.

As numerous wedding attendees, all dressed in formal black-tie outfits, took their time boarding each water taxi, a few well-known individuals grew restless and began chatting among themselves.

The lip reader said that Hilfiger looked to his side and asked: ‘Why do we need to stand here?’

Next, the designer takes a clumsy step down, causing him to stumble, but an assistant quickly steps in to support him. Laughing it off as a minor mishap, he carries on walking.

On several occasions, he seemed to slip or stumble, yet he dismissed it and flashed a peace symbol to the spectators.

Upon regaining my footing, Tom Brady playfully quipped, “You look like you’ve had one too many!” He delivered this jest with a grin, clearly intending to lighten the mood.

Hilfiger seemingly cracked a joke back before Brady allegedly added: ‘Can you just get on?’

Later, he was spotted giving waves to spectators who stood across the canal, enjoying the sight of celebrities moving to another spot for the weekend’s events and festivities.

Tom Ford’s wedding saw the attendance of designer Tommy Hilfiger along with his spouse, Dee Ocleppo, among other famous personalities, marking the union of a billionaire and a former journalist.

In the video, the designer displayed his unique flair by donning a green velvet tuxedo jacket accessorized with a traditional white button-up shirt and a sleek, black satin necktie tied in a bow.

He was also carrying a plastic water bottle in his hand when the unsteady moment occurred. 

Bezos and Sanchez tied the knot on Friday in Venice, Italy after a two-year engagement. 

200 guests were allegedly extended an invitation by the wealthy Amazon entrepreneur and his new spouse for a three-day wedding celebration in Italy.

Among Kim Kardashian, Ellie Goulding, Khloe Kardashian, Ivanka Trump, as well as other celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, the distinguished guest list also features designers Tommy Hilfiger and Tom Brady.

This past week, I stumbled upon a sneak peek of the invitation sent by the beloved couple, and boy, did they have a unique request that caught my attention!

Instead of purchasing gifts, guests have been requested not to do so, as the hosts have decided to make donations to various charities working towards preventing Venice from sinking in the name of their attendees, rather than receiving presents themselves.

Bezos is thought to be spending roughly $15 to $20 million on his and Sanchez’s Italian nuptials. 

On Thursday, an insider with close ties to the event organizing team disclosed to DailyMail.com, on an exclusive basis, that Bezos and Sanchez have already gone through a legal marriage ceremony.

According to the report, it was stated that Jeff himself verified their marriage, which is now legal, and furthermore, they have agreed upon a prenuptial contract to safeguard his estimated wealth of $244 billion.
