Tommy Fury playfully responds to critics who commented on his running style during his recent triathlon, posting a message on Instagram on Tuesday.

On Saturday, the 26-year-old boxer participated in a challenging 100km triathlon held in France. His girlfriend, Molly-Mae Hague, flew out to cheer him on as he completed the race and reached the finish line.

Ever since those clips surfaced showing him powering through the last stretch of the race, I just couldn’t stay quiet anymore. There were plenty who suggested he resembled someone wearing flippers or scuba gear due to his swift and efficient stride. However, let me tell you, that’s nothing more than an intriguing misinterpretation of his athletic prowess!

Posting a video of him running at the end, he wrote in the caption: “Feel free to critique my running style… but can anyone manage a sprint finish after completing a 100KM triathlon?

It was jokingly pointed out that his running style resembled Phoebe’s, as portrayed in a Friends TV show episode.

Molly-Mae expressed her pride towards her boyfriend Tommy, flying to France unexpectedly to cheer him on during his triathlon competition.

In a heartwarming gesture, the 26-year-old influencer posted a video of herself waving to the boxer, all while cradling her two-year-old daughter, affectionately named Bambi. This special moment unfolded as the boxer was nearing the finish line in the endurance race.

Molly excitedly bounced up and down, encouraging Tommy, following her announcement (on Instagram, which has since been deleted) that she had flown to the French Riviera via a private airplane.

On Love Island, the celebrity was seen in a relaxed style, donning a beige t-shirt and a pair of gray jogging pants. She affectionately kissed Tommy following his successful completion of the race and posted it online.

The pair displayed affectionate behavior, hugging and kissing as their daughter, seated in a stroller with her father’s award, clung to him.

Tommy expressed that he believed he was experiencing some sort of illusion when he encountered Molly and Bambi, yet he excitedly declared that it was the most remarkable moment during the competition.

He mentioned: ‘The pinnacle moment of my race… I had reached the halfway point when running, glanced up and felt as if I was seeing things.’

As a devoted admirer, I was thrilled beyond words when my dear ones appeared out of nowhere to surprise me! This unexpected moment meant the world to me, providing the motivation I needed to press on with determination. The thought of eventually reaching my goal, where I’d be reunited with them, has become an even stronger driving force.

This isn’t the first time Tommy’s running has captured interest.

In early January, there was laughter from fans as he shared a video where he almost knocked down an older woman during a charitable 10k run.

On January 4th, he participated in the Tatton Park 10km race, giving it his all and even coming close to bumping into another runner during the final dash.

As he accelerated towards the finish, he swiftly bypassed spectators on his way, nearly colliding with an elderly woman runner in the final moments of the race.

Tommy didn’t end up crashing into the lady but fans still took to the comments section to mock him.
