On Wednesday, Tom Selleck marked his 80th birthday by enjoying an elegant meal with his loved ones and closest companions in Thousand Oaks, California, where he was spotted celebrating.

Actor from the show “Blue Bloods” dined out with his wife Jillie Mack (age 67), their daughter Hannah (age 36), and other dear ones at Tuscany il Ristorante, enjoying a scrumptious meal together.

During the morning hours, it was observed that the celebrity was having a solitary meal at McDonald’s drive-thru, on a personal excursion.

After the restaurant had closed, the group was spotted leaving and they embraced each other as they bid farewell before going their separate ways.

It appeared that Selleck was holding a present-filled box, and then he tenderly linked arms with his spouse for a walk towards a waiting vehicle, preparing to depart for their next location together.

For the special occasion, the star opted for a chic yet relaxed look, donning a pair of timeless blue jeans along with a smart dark-red shirt.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I opted for a stylish layer by donning a tasteful tan-blazer and a matching jacket over my outfit, before slipping into a pair of rich, earthy-toned brown footwear to complete the ensemble.

In 1987, Tom’s spouse, the one he got married to, chose a striped dress and a tan jacket to celebrate his significant birthday.

In 1988, the couple gave birth to their daughter Hannah, while Selleck had previously adopted a son named Kevin during his previous marriage to Jacqueline Ray.

In a conversation with People the previous year, Selleck shared insights about his enduring marriage to Jillie, emphasizing his appreciation for their deep friendship and admiration for her wit.

The celebrity has moved to a ranch in Ventura County with Jillie, and he makes regular trips there every fortnight during the shooting of the CBS police drama, “Blue Bloods.

The meal took place shortly following the former Magnum, P.I. cast member being spotted dining at a McDonald’s drive-thru. He consumed the fast food in his vehicle as he snacked on it.

At some point during the outing, Selleck could be spotted sporting a grin while making an order and wearing a sleek, zip-up black coat for the daytime adventure.

Speaking about his upcoming birthday, Tom has shared with Parade if he’s prepared to retire following the cancellation of Blue Bloods after 14 seasons, the final episode of which aired in December 2024.

As I journey further into my years as a devoted admirer, I can’t help but notice that my beloved Hollywood star seems to give less emphasis on celebrating birthdays, just like an old record skipping over the same track.

In simpler terms, Selleck shared that he no longer keeps track of the number of his birthdays, has ceased celebrating them for some time now, and plans to continue working diligently.

Tom is well-known for appearing in productions like Friends, Three Men, a Baby, Quigley Down Under, and the Jesse Stone film series.

The celebrity expressed that they are receptive to ideas since they deeply admire the character Frank Reagan, however, no one has truly proposed anything yet. This statement was made in an interview with the media outlet.

It seems unlikely that he will retire and leave. If he were to move to a quiet town, I’d prefer to continue making Jesse Stone films instead.

I’ve been feeling a bit irritated lately. To be honest, instead of discussing the ending of ‘Blue Bloods’, I find myself talking more about its continued success over the last eight episodes.

He mentioned, “Among the Top 100 Shows of 2023-2024, with a ranking of 9th in terms of total viewers when excluding the three sports (football) shows, we ended up at the 6th position!

‘My frustration is the show was always taken for granted because it performed from the get-go.’ 

Back in 2017, Tom garnered a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Crime TV Drama Actor.  

Another source disclosed details about Selleck’s intentions post-CBS series to Closer Magazine, revealing that he aims to unwind on his ranch, stroll across his land, engage in quality time with his spouse and kin, and embark on some travels.

Tom and Jillie have the freedom to relax at home, prepare meals, take leisurely strolls, and find great happiness. He deeply cherishes Jillie and feels confident in her ability to organize their activities or plan trips.

The source went on to tell the media that he is eagerly anticipating having additional leisure moments to spend together with her.
