Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey reveals the couple’s children ‘love’ her new boyfriend and says she believes The Wanted star had a helping hand in bringing them together- two years on from his tragic death

Having gone through the unimaginable loss of her husband, Tom Parker, she has shown an incredible ability to move forward while still honoring his memory.
In an exclusive interview with TopMob, Tom Parker’s wife, Kelsey, shared that their children have taken a liking to her new companion, Will.
Kelsey and the former member of The Wanted band, who tragically passed away in March 2022 due to brain cancer at the young age of 33, had a 5-year-old daughter named Aurelia and a 4-year-old son called Bodhi.
In the face of criticism from harsh online bullies following her announcement about her new romance, she expressed confidence that the member of The Wanted played a part in helping her rediscover love.
At the Pride of Britain Awards, I conveyed to TopMob that ‘I truly believe he’s extraordinarily unique, and our encounter felt as if he imbued me with a touch of enchantment.’
When inquired about her feelings, she replied: “I can’t quite put it into words, but it’s all about him. He’s incredibly thoughtful, compassionate, and kind-hearted. Tragically, he lost his father at the age of 21, which allows him to empathize with my children’s struggles and provide comfort. Moreover, he serves as a significant source of strength for me.
Kelsey clarified that while it was previously reported they met during a memorial game for Tom, they actually encountered each other genuinely on a nighttime excursion in Kent.
It seems like our affection for each other was mutual and rather surprising. To be honest, I hadn’t anticipated meeting someone special, but he caught me off guard in the most delightful way, making me feel as if he had swept me right off my feet.
Four years ago, Bodhi celebrated his first birthday, and I find myself in disbelief. When I was 35 weeks pregnant with him, Tom received his diagnosis of having a brain tumor, so it feels like his entire life, over these past four years, has been nothing short of chaotic.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m grateful for our current state of progress, and we indeed marked an occasion worth celebrating the day prior. However, amidst my immersion in work commitments and my relentless pursuit of personal growth, the festive spirit of Christmas has yet to cross my mind.
Following Kelsey’s emotional post expressing gratitude towards fans during her budding relationship, she addressed the matter of grief.
Following the announcement of her new partner, she had to respond to unpleasant comments from internet bullies.
Last month, Kelsey expressed gratitude towards her fans on Instagram for their support during her recent romantic journey. She confessed that initially, she had been apprehensive about revealing this aspect of her personal life.
Grief is a topic I’ll continue to discuss; it’s an integral aspect that remains in our lives as well as the children’s,” she explained.
In my own words: I simply wanted to express my gratitude for the outpouring of love and encouragement on my recent post. It took a great deal of courage for me to reveal this aspect of my life, given that many of you have known me primarily through my life with Tom and the heartbreaking grief I’ve been navigating since his passing.
Discussing my personal experiences from the last few years has been immensely therapeutic, giving me the chance to bond with people who have had comparable journeys and establish a wonderful, encouraging network.
Tom is undeniably a significant and enduring presence in my life. My affection for him remains steadfast, and he is often on my mind daily.
She added: ‘But I’m now navigating this path as a single mum and at times it has been challenging.
It’s not false to admit that having someone next to me, who brings joy, laughter, and rekindles the sensation of loving, truly feels wonderful. Such a sentiment should be experienced by everyone.
‘Grief is something I will always talk about it – it will always be part of mine and the kids’ lives. Thank you for your continued support always. Love Kels.’
Kelsey revealed she met Will while she was fundraising in honour of her late husband.
According to a report by The Sun, Kelsey Parker shares insights about her experience coping with grief and seeking love anew in her latest book, “Kelsey Parker: Love’s New Path.
She shared: “I’ve reached a point in my grieving process where I’ve released the guilt. I believe Tom would want me to find happiness.
Kelsey started seeing electrician Sean Boggans in November 2022, following her husband’s passing in March of the same year. However, their relationship, which had its ups and downs, ultimately ended for good in December 2023.
