Tom Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy lands new UK streaming home

As a self-proclaimed Marvel enthusiast with over two decades of comic book reading under my belt, I can confidently say that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy has truly redefined the web-slinger for a new generation. Having grown up watching Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield don the iconic red and blue suit, it’s been an absolute joy to witness Holland’s Peter Parker navigate his own set of trials and tribulations.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy has found a new UK streaming home.

Over the coming weeks, you can catch the movies “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” on BBC iPlayer, as they were recently aired on BBC One.

On the first day of December (1st), Spider-Man: Homecoming was broadcasted, while Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home followed suit on consecutive days, with the former airing on Monday (2nd) and the latter on Tuesday (3rd).

Initially, the web-based hero portrayed by Tom Holland made his debut among the audience in the film “Captain America: Civil War”, later starring in a standalone movie titled “Homecoming” which was released in 2017.

I stepped back into the gaming world again for a standalone adventure in the 2019 sequel, “Far From Home.” Last time you saw me was in 2021’s “No Way Home,” where I was Peter Parker, teaming up with old Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to battle villains from different universes.

After being released, the film “No Way Home” raked in an impressive $1.92 billion globally, which catapulted it to become the seventh highest-grossing movie ever made.

At present, work is ongoing for a new Spider-Man movie, with Tom Holland confirming that production will start next year.

He expressed that things are moving forward. By next summer, we’ll begin filming and all seems set for a smooth production. We’re almost at the finish line, and it’s incredibly thrilling. I can hardly contain my anticipation, he stated in October.

Previously, the actor shared that he and his co-star Zendaya have gone through an early version of the script for the next instalment. He expressed, “There’s room for improvement, but the writers are doing a fantastic job. I read it about three weeks back, and it sparked something inside me.

“Zendaya and I sat down, read it together and we at times were bouncing around the living room.”

Spider-Man 4 will release on July 24, 2026.
