The critically acclaimed disaster film *The Impossible*, which launched Tom Holland’s acting career, is now available to stream in the UK on a new platform.
The 2012 film, directed by JA Bayona, tells the true story of María Belón and her family. They were on Christmas vacation in Khao Lak, Thailand, when the devastating 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami struck, putting their lives in danger.
Naomi Watts stars as Maria, a character renamed Maria Bennett for the movie. Ewan McGregor plays her husband, and their three children are portrayed by Holland, Samuel Joslin, and Oaklee Pendergast.
