Tom Holland lands next lead movie role
Tom Holland has landed his next lead movie role in The Partner.
According to Deadline, the actor known for playing Spider-Man is set to not only appear in but also produce the upcoming crime heist movie adaptation of “The Partner” by John Grisham.
As a gamer, I’ll step into the shoes of Patrick Lanigan – once a respectable lawyer, now an expert in deception. In this thrilling role, I’ll pull off an elaborate scheme to swindle my ex-employee by orchestrating a faked demise. It’s going to be quite the ride!
In February 1992, Patrick S Lanigan tragically passed away in a car accident. His departure has left his grieving spouse, young child, and promising life behind, as stated in the book summary.
About six weeks following my supposed demise, an astounding sum of $90 million vanished from the law firm I had been a part of. It wasn’t until then that my partners began to suspect that I might not have met my end after all.
The studio responsible for the film titled “The Partner” has enlisted Graham Moore, who wrote “The Imitation Game“, to handle the screenplay. Currently, no additional casting announcements have been made.
After wrapping up his role in the Apple TV+ series “The Crowded Room,” Holland recently stepped away from acting. However, towards the end of last year, he made a comeback to London’s West End stage, portraying Romeo in Jamie Lloyd’s adaptation of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet.
Viewers can expect to find him in an upcoming film titled “Christopher Nolan’s interpretation of The Odyssey”. This movie will feature his reported fiancée Zendaya, along with prominent actors such as Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theron.
In December, it was announced that Tom Holland would once again take on the role of Spider-Man in the upcoming fourth film, a fact he himself confirmed.
As a gaming enthusiast speaking about my favorite pastime, In the world of movies, I, the main character, am excited to share that our next blockbuster is set to roll cameras the following summer! Guess who’s reprising her role alongside me? None other than my partner-in-crime, Zendaya, stepping back into the shoes of MJ once again.
The two actors have already read a draft of the script of the follow-up to No Way Home.
It still needs improvements, but the writers are doing an excellent job. I read it about three weeks ago, and it truly ignited my passion.
“Zendaya and I sat down, read it together and we at times were bouncing around the living room.”
