On a sunny day in Glasgow, Tom Holland couldn’t hide his joy as he made his debut on the set of the latest Spider-Man movie on Sunday.

The city of Scotland has undergone a change, turning into a miniature version of downtown New York for filming purposes. It was chosen as a more affordable replacement for the Big Apple itself.

Tom, aged 29, flashed a grin while waving at admirers, donning the iconic costume, as he embarked on filming Spider-Man: A Fresh Start, scheduled for release in 2026.

In Captain America: Civil War, which was released in 2016, he initially played the character and later seemed to playfully fire off webbing from his suit as well.

In the upcoming installment of the Spider-Man series, it’s rumored that Tom Holland will be sharing the screen with Sadie Sink from Stranger Things, who is currently 23 years old. However, an official confirmation regarding the casting hasn’t been made yet.

In 2016, while working together on the movie “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” Zendaya, who is now 29 years old, developed a romantic relationship with Tom, which led to her being cast in the film as well.

Tom recently made an appearance in Glasgow, which coincides with a particularly busy phase for him following his selection as the latest ambassador for Prada’s Paradigme Fragrance. To publicize this role, he was photographed alongside some charming puppies.

He also recently addressed speculation that he could be stepping into the shoes of James Bond. 

Discussion has circulated, including Tom’s name among other well-known celebrities, suggesting him as a possible replacement for the James Bond role.

Instead, Tom Holland remained tight-lipped when asked about the rumors during a video interview posted on Thursday.

A screenwriter for the highly anticipated film was also announced on Friday.

During his collaboration with chef Gordon Ramsay on YouTube for a fried chicken sandwich session and to publicize his non-alcoholic beer brand, Tom addressed the rumors or talk about him that have been circulating.

He mentioned that there are some rumors circulating currently. For the moment, let’s try not to dwell on them too much, he said while smiling bashfully. We’ll eventually reach our destination someday.

It has been revealed that the upcoming James Bond movie will likely take shape, following the news on Friday about Steven Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders, teaming up with director Denis Villeneuve to pen the script for the next Bond film.

During an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast, Knight expressed that it had long been a dream of his to participate in this event, and he was thrilled to have been invited. He can hardly contain his excitement to begin.

The movie will now be supervised by Amazon MGM Studios, following the relinquishment of creative control for the Bond franchise by producer Barbara Broccoli.

Despite the creative crew for the upcoming Bond movie coming together nicely, no hints have been given about who might take over from Craig, nor any information on potential candidates under consideration.

It seems that the filmmakers might be seeking an actor noticeably younger than Craig (age 57) to play the iconic role next time, as Craig’s portrayal was depicted with a more aged, contemplative aspect emphasizing the character’s mortality.
