Tom Holland Gave Fans An Update After Spider-Man: Brand New Day Set Injury Reports Ran Around

It’s been four years since Tom Holland last played Spider-Man in *No Way Home*, so fans were happy to hear that filming has begun on his next Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, *Brand New Day*. There were some concerns recently when reports surfaced that Holland had been injured on set, temporarily halting production. However, Holland has since updated fans on his condition, and it seems he’s doing well.

Tom Holland was thrilled to be filming under more normal conditions for the new movie, *Brand New Day*, in Glasgow, especially after the challenges of shooting *No Way Home* during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it was recently reported that he suffered a mild concussion on set after an accident during a stunt. This weekend, Holland updated his fans on Instagram, sharing how he’s recovering while also promoting a cause he cares about.

Tom Holland, known for his roles in *The Impossible* and *Spider-Man*, seemed happy and relaxed at a charity event hosted by his family’s organization, The Brothers Trust. The event, held at Christie’s in London, saw Holland looking stylish alongside his fiancée, Zendaya, who also starred with him in *Spider-Man*. Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned in the Marvel movies, was also there, and a photo from the event hinted at his character’s return in a future MCU film.

The event was a lovely night, and guests were able to try Tom Holland’s non-alcoholic beer, Bero. Everyone seemed to enjoy the Posh Pub Quiz that took place, too. Mostly, though, I’m glad to hear Tom Holland is recovering well after his accident on set.

The BAFTA-winning actor attended the charity event but had to leave prematurely, explaining in his social media post that he was recovering and feeling better. Though The Sun reported he left because he wasn’t feeling well, it was good to see him prioritize attending despite not being able to stay for the whole event.

Tom Holland often gets injured while performing his own stunts. He’s even described himself as someone who’s easily hurt, recalling a knee injury he sustained while filming *No Way Home* that kept him off set for three days to recover.

Tom Holland recalled a clumsy moment on the set of his first Marvel movie, *Captain America: Civil War*, where he tripped and hurt his face in front of everyone. He joked it wasn’t a very glamorous moment, but fans shouldn’t fault him for it. Instead, we should appreciate that he quickly recovered and continued playing Spider-Man’s Peter Parker.

I’m hoping Tom Holland avoids any further on-set mishaps while filming *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*. After the recent incident, I’m sure the team will prioritize safety for everyone involved. Don’t forget to add the movie to your watchlist – it comes out July 31st, 2026!
