Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan are teaming up for a new streaming series from Guy Ritchie.
The film titled “The Associate” features Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren. As reported by Deadline, the plot revolves around a group of high-ranking London trouble-shooters, focusing on two generations of criminal underworld figures.
The Paramount+ series revolves around the ventures they manage, their intricate personal ties, and a charismatic, risky troubleshooter named Harry (Hardy), whom they enlist to resolve their predicaments.
The explanation also hints at potential dangers to their wealth and honor, unexpected partnerships and deception, as the secretive nature of their trade leaves them uncertain about what may lie ahead.
Brosnan and Mirren will portray the family’s grandfather and grandmother respectively, and the series signifies a reunion of these talented actors after working together in Netflix’s “The Thursday Murder Club.
The later project is inspired by Richard Osman’s popular book, and the author has hinted at a possible release date for the movie adaptation lately.

The film was transformed for screen by author Jo Nesbø, based on his own novel, and focuses on an assassin who finds himself in danger from his superior after being tasked with a job that conflicts with his ethical standards.
The Associate will stream on Paramount+, with a release date yet to be confirmed.
