Tom Hardy Leaves Radio Host Mortified After Hilarious X-Rated Dog Toy Mix-Up
On Monday evening, during an interview on Heart FM with host Dev Griffin, actor Tom Hardy caused a blushworthy moment by making an explicit joke, leaving Dev in a slightly embarrassed state.
47-year-old Hollywood icon left the radio host dumbfounded when he confused a dog’s plaything with an adult toy during a humorous conversation.
In our previous encounter, your dog Blue was playing around, correct? Well, I’ve come equipped this time for our chat.
While maintaining a looped rope connected to a tennis ball, he added, “It turns out I picked up a toy specifically for Blue.
However, Dev found himself momentarily at a loss for words upon hearing Tom’s swift retort, which likened the present to a type of adult toy often used in BDSM play. In simpler terms, Tom said that the gift resembled a ball gag.
Struggling to find the words to continue, Dev stuttered: ‘Well….’ as Tom added: ‘Don’t lie’.

Dev added: “Perhaps it could serve another purpose, but let me assure you, I did purchase it specifically for Blue.
I’m utterly captivated by the quest; locating a silent toy seems more challenging than finding a needle in a haystack! Alas, he’s absent today, making me feel somewhat foolish with this toy that won’t stop squeaking. To make matters worse, I haven’t managed to find anything suitable for you – it seems gift-giving for someone as unique as you is no simple task.
Later in the interview as the two parted ways Tom added: ‘Thanks for the ball gag.’
In December 2023, Tom was recognized for his affection towards dogs, as he had his French Bulldog named Blue alongside him while reading a CBeebies bedtime story on air.
Earlier, he graced the show alongside his beloved dog Woody. Regrettably, Woody left us in 2017 at just six years old.
Currently, Tom, who spent this year filming a project in Wales, passionately stood up for the iconic ghost train of Barry Island when he playfully reprimanded a radio host during an unusually lively radio discussion on Monday.
On the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X, co-host Dominic Byrne inquired about his recent stay in Wales, specifically mentioning rumors that he was seen on Barry Island.

‘And apparently you were on the ghost train, is that true?,’ to which Tom replied: ‘I don’t know.’
‘Okay, because I’ve been on ghost train, and it’s one of the scariest,’ Dominic added.
As an over-the-moon admirer, I can’t help but exclaim: “Give me a moment, this reminds me of something! It takes me back, yes, it does! Doesn’t it follow a circular pattern, emerging from the left side?
1. “Indeed, I’ve experienced it before,” was my response, as the host confessed, “The operator of the attraction is even more terrifying than the ride itself.”
2. “That’s correct, I’ve been there,” I said, and the host added, “You know, the person operating the ride can be scarier than the ride itself.”
3. “Affirmative, I’ve taken it,” I replied, while the host noted, “It’s interesting to point out that the one controlling the ride is often more frightening than the ride itself.”
4. “Yes, I’ve been on it,” I agreed, and the host commented, “Intriguingly, the person operating the ride can be scarier than the actual ride itself.”
5. “Indeed, I’ve had that experience,” I confirmed, as the host remarked, “It’s worth noting that the operator of the attraction can sometimes be more frightening than the ride itself.”
But Tom looked serious as he quipped: ‘I wouldn’t say that.’
‘Right,’ said Dominic. ‘You can’t say that,’ remarked hilariously the Venom star.
Since he could potentially overhear, it seems inappropriate to make such negative comments about Barry Island. Given its positive aspects, I find myself instinctively wanting to defend it right away.
‘That’s wrong. I had a great time on Barry Island.’
Dominic remembered that we went as a family, and there were also those coin-operated machines that slide coins to get prizes.
They’re amazing, but remember they aren’t the healthiest option out there. Use them sparingly, but they sure can be a lot of fun!
Continuing to probe with playful queries, Dominic inquired, “Are you no longer using those two-cent vending machines now?
‘I don’t talk about that, no. It’s none of your business,’ the Inception favourite quipped.
The host agreed with you wholeheartedly and quickly added, “I’m sorry if I overstepped, Tom.” To which Tom simply responded, “There’s no need for me to share that information.
‘I won’t,’ Dominic assured, before Tom moved on saying: ‘Next question.’
