Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren’s London-set crime series lands release date

Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren’s new organised crime series has a release date – and it’s soon.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but get excited about the upcoming TV show “MobLand,” directed by Guy Ritchie. I’ve heard that Pierce Brosnan and two other talented actors will be leading the cast in this production. According to Variety, we can catch the premiere of this thrilling series on Paramount+ starting March 30. Can’t wait!

Brosnan and Mirren portray the strong couple, Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, leading figures in a formidable London crime syndicate. They’re engaged in a fierce conflict against a competing criminal family.

Meanwhile, Hardy assumes the role of Harry Da Souza, a trusted yet risky ‘problem solver’. He stands ready at all times to handle any issues that may arise.

In MobLand, the talented cast includes Paddy Considine, known for his role in House of the Dragon, who portrays Brosnan’s on-screen son Kevin Harrigan. Meanwhile, Lara Pulver, best recognized from Spooks and Maternal, plays Bella Harrigan, his character’s wife on screen.

Actress Joanne Froggatt, who played both the role of a liar and Lady Crawley in Downton Abbey, is also portrayed as Jan De Souza, her screen husband in another production.

In addition to Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber, the cast of Top Boy includes Jasmine Jobson as well.

In addition to his on-camera role, Hardy has executively produced the series alongside Ritchie.

In the movie titled MobLand, we find a reunion of Hardy and Ritchie, two collaborators last seen in the 2008 film RocknRolla.

Originally slated as a British adaptation of the hit series “Ray Donovan,” starring Liev Schreiber, announced in February last year, the Paramount+ show has undergone changes and is now being developed as an entirely separate, self-contained series instead.

In one of his forthcoming ventures titled “Wife & Dog,” Ritchie has brought on board Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike, and Anthony Hopkins to join the film’s ensemble. This is just one of many upcoming projects for him.

The director behind “The Gentleman” is also slated to helm a new “Young Sherlock” series featuring Hero Fiennes Tiffin on Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, he will direct “In the Grey,” starring Henry Cavill, as well as “Fountain of Youth,” which stars John Krasinski and Natalie Portman in key roles.

MobLand will premiere on Paramount+ on March 30.
