Tom Grennan slips and falls hard on his back while performing on stage at Birmingham concert

During his show in Birmingham on Thursday, Tom Grennan tumbled quite severely, landing on his back.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can share that recently, at the ripe age of 30, I found myself in an unfortunate situation – a rather awkward mishap left me in discomfort, with a sharp reminder that life isn’t always picture-perfect. To put it simply, it truly hurt.

Tom was prancing and jumping about to his popular song “Lionheart”. After that, he dashed and leaped up onto a raised platform, only to fall down to the ground below.

After the accident, Tom swiftly regained his balance and maintained his composure by standing upright once more.

‘Not gonna lie that really hurt’, he told fans afterwards.

He posted a message on TikTok over the video, saying, “Get ready to see the most historic stage fall ever,” followed by, “(I’m fine though)” or simply, “Don’t worry, I’m okay.

The popular videos showing Tom’s intense defeat have been spreading rapidly on TikTok, with fans expressing their worries about the songwriter.

Fans commented: “Terrific evening, Tom! We didn’t stop dancing throughout the night. Hope you’re doing well after your fall!

Let’s avoid any injuries during this tour, Tom. The show was fantastic, and I can only imagine how excruciating that fall must have been – here’s to a smooth ride for the upcoming tour!

Great job handling that situation! The performance I saw last night was truly remarkable, simply incredible. Kudos to you!

Or:

You did a fantastic job with that! The show I witnessed last night was mind-blowing, I must say. Well done!

Both convey the same sentiment but use different phrasing and sentence structure.

Tom secretly welcomed his first child with his wife Danniella Carraturo a few months ago.

Last summer, the singer who wed a Pilates instructor announced that his newborn daughter is his most cherished present. He shared her delightful name publicly for the first time last Friday.

Tom shared on Instagram that his newest album has topped the charts, but he also revealed a personal milestone – he’s become a father for the first time, welcoming his daughter Dottie into the world.

He posted a picture of Dottie with his award and said: “From the boy who didn’t believe he’d ever succeed, to three chart-topping albums in a row – finding myself among musical legends like The Beatles & Oasis is something I can’t fully express my gratitude for.

Stepping into fatherhood simultaneously is the most beautiful blessing I could envision. Music has always given my life meaning, but becoming a father surpasses that, filling my life with an abundance of love. Here’s to the past shaping me, the present providing stability, and the future brimming with anticipation!

As a grateful devotee, I can’t help but express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you for helping me bring my dreams back to life yet again. The truth is, I wouldn’t be able to accomplish this journey without your unwavering support. I eagerly look forward to joining you all on our tour in September. It promises to be an extraordinary experience we’ll cherish together.

He concluded: ‘Honestly I’m so excited for what’s to come, we are just getting started. Tom x’

According to a source, Tom and Danniella recently became parents to a baby girl named Dottie, and they are completely smitten by her.

‘It’s been massive becoming parents but they’ve taken to it like ducks to water and are so happy.

For Tom, becoming a father to Dottie was the most wonderful event in his life. Now that he’s achieved his third number one album, it feels like the perfect finishing touch for him.

The couple became engaged in 2022 and married in May 2024 at a luxurious estate in Majorca.

It’s said that they ran into each other in an elevator back in 2020, but later separated and eventually rekindled their relationship during the periods of lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last year, during an interview on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, I shared insights about the dynamics of a particular couple’s relationship.

He shared with Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson that their first encounter took place in an elevator, followed by them having a cigarette together in the smoking lounge within the same building.

He continued by mentioning that they shared a moment while smoking a cigarette, and thereafter, he experienced an awkward rejection when attempting to kiss her.

In a recollection, the artist shared that he moved in for a kiss and she responded with something like, “Why on earth are you doing that?

As a devoted fan, I couldn’t help but be captivated when the artist unexpectedly regained his charm by casually remarking, “Well, if you’re not going to give me a kiss, at least let me have your number.” And from that moment on, our story became something truly unforgettable.

Towards the end of the segment, Tom shared a touching action he did for his newlywed spouse at their wedding last month.

Following his speech at the gathering, the musician then sang a song he had written specifically for the event, as he felt his dyslexia may have hindered him in fully conveying his emotions through speech.

He shared that he delivered a speech, followed by saying something along the lines of, “Daniella, my speech isn’t as eloquent as I’d like it to be, but let me try,” before composing a song for her.
