Tom Daley cheekily flashes his washboard abs and mocks Kate Garraway’s catchphrase in a sizzling new post following Celebrity Traitors ‘murder’

Tom Daley playfully showed off his toned stomach and jokingly repeated Kate Garraway’s famous line from *The Traitor* in a recent Instagram post.

The 31-year-old retired diver, who was eliminated from the popular BBC show on Wednesday night’s episode, playfully responded to the attention around his dramatic exit and the frequent use of the word ‘flabbergasted’ by posting a shirtless video.

The video starts with Tom playfully pretending to depart from Ardross Castle – the location where the series is filmed – carrying a large black suitcase and wearing a striking black-and-white fur coat.

He walked toward the camera and, with a grin, declared he was completely stunned. As he said this, he dramatically opened his coat, revealing his muscular build.

Fans of The Celebrity Traitors noticed a surprising blunder in the Traitors’ most recent elimination, and Tom shared his thoughts on how the show might unfold, following the funny video’s release.

The latest episode of the BBC One series *The Traitors* showed Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, and Cat Burns – the three remaining Traitors – meeting to decide who to eliminate next, after they previously voted out Niko Omilana.

Alan, Jonathan, and Cat were worried that Tom, a very observant diver, might suspect and target one of them, as he tends not to trust anyone.

They considered having comedian Joe Wilkinson or presenter Claire Balding host, but ultimately chose Tom, hoping to stay under the radar.

Everyone was stunned at breakfast to learn he was gone, discovering he had been killed. The night before, Tom had received a message confirming his death.

Viewers watching the show are upset that the Traitors eliminated Tom, especially after a Faithful contestant started accusing him of being a Traitor.

After Claudia Winkleman announced the contestant’s death, Stephen Fry revealed he had planned to identify that player as a Traitor.

One viewer expressed their disappointment on X, stating that killing off the character Tom when many believed he was a traitor was a poor decision.

Another person agreed, saying Tom Daley wasn’t a good choice because some of the celebrities believed he was one of the Traitors. A third person added that he was already suspected of being a Traitor.

After the death, Tom explained to the BBC that he’d actually anticipated being targeted by the Traitors for a different reason: they saw him as a serious threat because he understood how the game worked so well.

He explained that finding the letter on the chair immediately made him realize he’d been killed. Since they hadn’t identified a traitor yet, he was certain it wasn’t a recruitment attempt.

Okay, so watching *The Traitors* is seriously stressing me out! I’m already picturing myself at the Round Table and honestly, I’d be voted out immediately. First, I’d be devastated, and then totally baffled by everyone’s strategy – I just know it! I’d be the first one banished, no question.

‘If any of the Traitors just planted that seed at the Round Table, I’m sure I would be banished.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always said people are capable of shocking betrayals. This situation suggests someone considered a truly heinous act – possibly even murder – against someone they believed would be completely untouchable, someone shielded from any consequences, like a valued member of an exclusive circle. It’s a chilling thought, isn’t it? They targeted someone with inherent protection, thinking they could get away with it because of that very protection.

‘Maybe they thought of me as a threat. Maybe I was getting too close to the right answers.’

Tom, familiar with the game from playing it with his family, shared that he’s never been discovered when playing the role of a Traitor.

Whenever I’ve played the role of a Faithful character, other players have suspected me of being a Traitor, simply because I was actively trying to identify who the real Traitors were.

I sometimes get carried away when sharing my ideas, and that’s what happened in this situation.

Tom commented on the show, saying, ‘It didn’t take long for me to be eliminated, did it? I’m really disappointed to be leaving – I was voted out because people saw me as a strong player and probably thought I’d eventually betray them.’

The Traitors airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9pm on BBC One and is available to stream on iPlayer.
