In a chat with The Project, the lead actor of Mission Impossible, now 62 and a mainstay of the series for three decades, shared that the most challenging stunt yet in the forthcoming final chapter, Dead Reckoning, has been his to perform.

In the movie, Tom found himself submersed in a water tank that activated upon cue, creating an illusion of a sinking submarine.

‘Was that one of the hardest stunt sequences that you’ve ever done?’ The Project’s host asked.

‘Without a question,’ the actor replied.

Without a doubt, this is the biggest, wildest, and most impactful Mission movie ever made.

When the opportunity arose to join the Mission: Impossible franchise with Brian De Palma’s debut in 1996, I saw it as the perfect platform to push the boundaries of the action genre, which is exactly what I aimed to do.
