She shared with Playboy that Tom had been seriously considering joining a monastery. He believed that remaining celibate was necessary to preserve his musical talent.

Now 70, Rogers was spotted in sunny California, looking slender in a flowing printed blouse and white pants.

Barbara Rogers is known for her role in the 1996 film, The Mirror Has Two Faces. The film notably featured her sister played by director Barbra Streisand, legendary actress Lauren Bacall as her mother, and Pierce Brosnan as her husband.

She appeared alongside Michael Keaton in the 1986 film Gung Ho, directed by Ron Howard, and later co-starred with Mickey Rourke and Anthony Hopkins in Michael Cimino’s 1990 movie, Desperate Hours.

Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis first met in 1985, when Cruise was 23 and McGillis was 29. They secretly married in 1987 with only two people present: Cruise’s mother, Mary Lee Pfeiffer, and his best friend, actor Emilio Estevez, known for his role in The Mighty Ducks.

While they were together, Cruise was introduced to Scientology through Rogers, as her father and former husband were both involved in the church.

Their relationship faced a lot of public attention and judgment, largely due to the significant age difference and his much greater fame.

She married her current husband, Chris Ciaffa, a producer, in 2003 after meeting him in 1990. They had already had two children, Lucy, now 31, and Charlie, 24, and exchanged vows at a courthouse in Beverly Hills.

Recently, viewers have enjoyed seeing her in the Amazon police dramas Bosch and Bosch: Legacy, which star Titus Welliver, known for his roles in Lost and Deadwood.
