This enigmatic film, with its intricate plot and tantalizing mystery, has always been one of those movies that I’ve wanted to experience but never got around to watching due to my overloaded gaming schedule.

Over the past twenty years, Stanley Kubrick’s 1999 film, in which Nicole Kidman stars, has truly stood the test of time and earned itself a place as a modern classic.
Fans in the UK and Ireland can watch it on the streaming site from today (November 6).

Initially met with divided opinions among critics, the movie eventually gained recognition as a timeless classic and a box office hit. Moreover, it served as Stanley Kubrick’s last production, which was released in the same year he passed away.
It has been announced that the upcoming untitled film by director Alejandro González Iñárritu, known for “The Revenant”, will start filming shortly in the United Kingdom.
The movie is included in the actor’s agreement with Warner Bros Discovery, and it will feature John Goodman, Jesse Plemons, Sandra Hüller, Sophie Wilde, and Michael Stuhlbarg among its cast members.
The upcoming eighth installment of the “Mission: Impossible” series is set for release next year, as confirmed by actor Shea Whigham, who indicated that it will be shown in cinemas starting from May 2025.
In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, he expressed, “Four years have passed. Yet, constructing Lake George in just 21 days holds no less value for me, if you grasp my meaning.” He added, “I feel fortunate for the projects I’ve been involved with recently, but indeed, we’ve reached the end of this one.
“Tom [Cruise]’s not done, and [Mission: Impossible 8] comes out next May.”
Eyes Wide Shut is available to stream now on Netflix in the UK and Ireland.
