Mel B has revealed the ‘weird’ moment Tom Cruise hijacked Victoria Beckham’s birthday bash.

62-year-old Hollywood heavyweight left everyone in awe as he brought back his flamboyant dance routines reminiscent of the extravagant character Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder during the event, leaving many in stitches.

During that movie, I couldn’t help but lose myself when Tom Cruise’s character broke out into an unforgettable, awkwardly hilarious hip-hop dance to Ludacris’ “Get Back” as the credits rolled. It was a moment that had me cringing and laughing at the same time, leaving me in sheer delight!

At the Netflix’s Celebrity Bear Hunt premiere on Tuesday, Mel, aged 49, confessed that she hadn’t completely grasped the humor in the act.

She shared with The Sun: “At Victoria’s 50th birthday celebration, Cruz started strumming ‘Mama’ on the guitar, prompting David to encourage everyone. The five of us began singing together, and then Tom Cruise initiated a dance circle, reenacting a move from one of his movies for some unexplained reason.

Everyone seemed to be having a blast dancing, and then he exclaimed, “Come on, buddy! Let’s go!” He began forming a circle. First to join was Tom Cruise – right in the center of the circle – who started showing off some moves…

Mel added: ‘I went ”Oh my God!” and that’s why I left the circle. It was the weirdest dance.’

After the singer shared whether any of her Spice Girls companions might participate in a Celebrity Bear Hunt someday.

Speaking to TopMob at the screening, she even dished on what pal Victoria would say to the show.

She assembled the Spice Girls alongside Victoria, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, and Emma Bunton; however, she was uncertain whether any of them would muster the courage to participate in the performance.

I initially assumed I would act in a certain way, but I needed to change my perspective. This is because we’re like travelers in a dense forest surrounded by strangers. We’re sharing close quarters without knowing what the next day will bring.

Inquired about the possibility of Victoria, aged 50, joining season two, Mel B replied: ‘One can never completely rule anything out.’

In this reality TV series, an assortment of unexpected famous personalities find themselves thrust into the dense Central American wilderness, where they become potential prey for one of Earth’s most formidable carnivores – the Brown Bear.

As Bear puts them through their paces, those who fail to impress will face the dreaded ‘Bear Hunt’.

As a die-hard fan, I can tell you that The Bear Hunt is infamously known as a ruthless game of cat-and-mouse. In this thrilling spectacle, it’s Bear who becomes the hunter, tracking down his targets with chilling precision. If they are unfortunate enough to be caught, elimination from the show is the grim reality they must face.

At another red carpet event, Lottie Moss, aged 27, attracted attention in a striking white dress featuring a high-slit near the thigh and an ample neckline.

Meanwhile, Una Healy, the singer from The Saturdays, chose a dark red vinyl dress adorned with shimmery embellishments when she was 43 years old.

Mel from the Spice Girls displayed her well-defined legs in a gray miniskirt, complementing it with a lengthy camel coat.

Steph McGovern wore an all-black outfit for the occasion and sported a wrist support.

After Bear confessed that Holly was quite anxious before shooting the new program, given it was her return to television.

In 2023, when a kidnap and murder plot involving her was made public, she decided to temporarily step back from screens and the glamour of the red carpet, apart from her role on Dancing On Ice, for some time off.
