Before the release of the eighth installment of the franchise, Tom Cruise recently disclosed the sustaining food he relies on as he approaches his 60s – a choice that may surprise you, given typical health recommendations.

According to The Mirror, he shared that he typically consumes large English breakfasts, sometimes containing over ten eggs.

The star, 62, said: ‘I actually eat a massive breakfast.

Training for wing-walking is quite an energy-consuming endeavor for me. So, to replenish my energy, I often find myself indulging in a hearty meal that includes sausages, nearly a dozen eggs, bacon, toast, coffee, and plenty of fluids.

‘Oh, I’m eating! Picture: It’s cold up there. We’re at high altitude. My body is burning a lot.’

Many actors, such as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Mark Wahlberg (who confessed to consuming a dozen eggs daily during the making of Father Stu), are among those who have indulged in eating eggs while getting ready for their significant roles. He is one of them.

It’s hardly unexpected that Tom draws inspiration for his English cuisine, given his deep-rooted affection for the country. He has spent considerable time there, filming several hit movies on location in London, where he also owns a property.

Over the weekend, he returned to the city for a visit, where he attended David Beckham’s glamorous 50th birthday bash held at the renowned eatery, Core in Notting Hill. He was there with his latest companion, Ana de Armas.

On Saturday evening, it seemed like the Top Gun figure made an unexpected appearance at the upscale parties, solo. However, the mask came off several hours later when he was seen exiting in a vehicle with the actress, who is 37 years old.

To conceal their romantic connection, the pair carefully exited the location under cover of umbrellas during the wee hours and then settled into the rear of a car while hiding behind the front seats.

As they tried to hide their faces in unison, Tom seemed to find the situation quite humorous. He was seen chuckling and grinning, even though their secretive moment was captured on film.

Ana, while donning a sleek, black dress with straps, maintained her gaze lowered and steered clear of getting snapped alongside Tom. However, the cat was out of the bag as she was spotted in the backdrop of a picture shared following the event.

Previously, Tom discretely showed up at the event earlier tonight, given the rumors circulating that his partner Ana had been extended an invitation to the glamorous gathering too.

The film, which has faced multiple delays, is finally due to hit cinemas on May 23 2025.

On Thursday, his enthusiasm spilled over as he took the stage for a press conference in Korea prior to the release of the upcoming film.

The actor teamed up with his fellow cast members to generate buzz for the much-awaited eighth installment of the series at the Lotte Tower in Jamsil, Seoul.
