Tom Cruise is hoping for his character in the 2008 movie titled “Tropic Thunder” to have its own spinoff. This original satirical comedy follows a team of actors shooting a war film who find themselves unexpectedly immersed in real combat situations. The ensemble cast, led by Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black, Jay Baruchel, Steve Coogan, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Nick Nolte, and Cruise, brings this unconventional story to life. “Tropic Thunder” is directed by Stiller from a script he co-wrote with Justin Theroux and Etan Cohen.
