Tom Cruise is seen arriving at London Battersea Heliport after cheering on athletes at the Olympics in Paris

As a die-hard fan since the days of Risky Business and Top Gun, I can hardly contain my excitement seeing Tom Cruise living his action hero fantasy right before our eyes! The man is a legend, a true cinematic icon who has mastered the art of defying gravity and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Tom Cruise was seen arriving at the Battersea Heliport in London on Saturday.

In a relaxed attire featuring a white polo shirt and dark jeans, the actor from Mission: Impossible, aged 62, accessorized with a black backpack.

He was spotted boarding a helicopter and settling into the passenger’s seat.

So far at the Olympics, Cruise has shown an energetic and amiable spirit, regularly participating in various events like an ordinary spectator and happily taking photos with fans while grinning broadly.

Although he hasn’t completed his Olympic journey just yet, there are plans for him to execute a daring stunt reminiscent of Ethan Hunt in the upcoming closing ceremony over the next weekend.

The cruise ship will make a brief stop precisely when Paris formally transfers the Olympic torch to Los Angeles, the city hosting the 2028 games.

Details have been kept under wraps so far, but it is known that L.A. Mayor Karen Bass will receive the Olympic flag from Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.

‘Expect a major Hollywood production,’ a source told Deadline.

TMZ reported more details on the Top Gun star’s involvement in the closing ceremonies on August 11.

It seems that the actor from Top Gun proposed his concept for the final ceremony spectacle to the International Olympic Committee.

The cruise will descend to the stadium field using a rope-climbing technique (rappelling) from the 115-foot peak of Stade de France, waving the official Olympic flag.

During the broadcast of Risky Business, a previously filmed clip showing the main character skydiving towards the iconic Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles will be shown as well.

Cruise performed that stunt in the spring and photographers caught him in action.

During the Olympics, Tom showed affection towards spectators by blowing kisses while he was observing a swimming relay following his encouragement of Simone Biles in the women’s gymnastics competition.

Over the Olympic weekend, the star spent a delightful sojourn in the city of love, Paris, and as he dramatically arrived on stage, the crowd erupted with enthusiastic applause.

Apart from that, he was seen posing for selfies with spectators and, following Lady Gaga’s performance at the Opening Ceremony, he warmly embraced her as well.

Later, the star who played The Rock of Ages made his way back to London on his helicopter following a weekend filled with Olympic activities.
