Tom Cruise has announced that the trailer for “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” will be released tomorrow.

In an announcement made through X, it was confirmed that the actor is set to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt in the upcoming eighth installment of the franchise. Additionally, he posted a picture showing him hanging from a plane’s wheels.

It is expected that the trailer shown will be the same one that was unveiled last week during CinemaCon. In this trailer, Tom Cruise’s character, a spy, can be seen hanging from an airborne biplane and leaping off a ship’s deck into the water (as reported by Variety).

In the upcoming project, Rolf Saxon is set to resume his character as William Donloe, originally portrayed in the first Mission: Impossible film. Joining him are fresh faces such as Hannah Waddingham, Katy O’Brian, Janet McTeer, Lucy Tulugarjuk, and Tramell Tillman.

The upcoming film continues directly after the suspenseful finale of “Dead Reckoning,” and it’s set to hit theaters on May 23rd.

Contrary to speculations that the movie might be the last outing for Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, its creator, Chris McQuarrie, has expressed some doubt about it being the end of the line.

As for The Final Reckoning, we’re continuing to film it, and numerous scenarios might unfold with the narrative,” he stated in 2023.

As you follow along with the team’s thrilling exploits in “Mission: Impossible,” you get a feeling for what it might be like to produce a “Mission: Impossible” film.

Regardless of the initial strategy, it often gets tweaked along the way, things don’t always go as expected, and sometimes they can even fall apart completely. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is released in cinemas on May 23, 2025.
