On a recent day in New York City, Suri Cruise bore a striking resemblance to her mother, Katie Holmes, as they both ventured out – just a few weeks before Suri is set to start college.
Eighteen-year-old Katie, the offspring of Tom Cruise and actress from Dawson’s Creek, was spotted running errands in a comfortable teddy hoodie and pair of blue sweatpants.
She wore her brunette locks sleek and straight and completed her ensemble with suede shoes.
Suri is making the most of her downtime ahead of starting college in the fall.
Earlier in the summer, she had completed her education at the renowned LaGuardia High School of Music, Art, and Performing Arts in New York City.
In the past few years, it’s been reported that she hasn’t seen much of her dad in person, yet he’s provided financial support. However, a strong likeness between them physically remains quite evident.

It turns out that Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks, Awkwafina, and Madonna’s oldest child, Lourdes Leon, are alumni of LaGuardia High School.
After completing her high school education, Suri intends to enroll at the esteemed Carnegie Mellon University, where fashion seems to be her preferred area of study.
A trusted source recently told DailyMail.com that this young lady is not only smart but is evolving into an exceptionally wise and mature individual. Interestingly, she maintains a tight-knit circle of faithful companions and possesses a strong sense of her origins.
On the contrary, it’s reported that Suri’s mother feels ‘overwhelmed’ about Suri leaving for college in Pittsburgh. The source revealed that Katie is both proud of her daughter and excessively protective.
Katie, known for her rise to stardom on the TV series Dawson’s Creek, began dating Tom in 2005. Just seven weeks into their relationship, he proposed to her.
In November 2006, which was seven months after their daughter Suri’s birth, they had a Scientology ceremony at the Castello Orsini-Odescalchi in Bracciano.

A source revealed to US Weekly that everyone has the right to visit their child, but he prefers not to due to her non-Scientology affiliation.
