Tokyo Ghoul character, Ken Kaneki, joins Dead by Daylight in new crossover
Dead by Daylight just got a new Killer: Ken Kaneki.
In simpler terms, The widely played cooperative multiplayer horror game, Dead by Daylight, has made an exciting reveal – the central character from Tokyo Ghoul, Ken Kaneki, is going to appear in the game, taking on the role of one of the Killers.
Here is everything we know about the new crossover.
Tokyo Ghoul joins Dead by Daylight with Ken Kaneki as the newest Killer
Players currently enjoying Dead by Daylight need to plan their strategies carefully, as the formidable Ghoul, Ken Kaneki, has been added as one of the game’s Killers. His Kagune is terrifying, a power best avoided.
Regardless, the individual who takes on the role of Ken Kaneki in Dead by Daylight can undoubtedly enjoy an extraordinary time utilizing all their unique powers.
Ken Kaneki’s abilities in Dead by Daylight
With Ken Kaneki now a part of Dead by Daylight, players will need to familiarize themselves with his abilities, whether they find themselves controlling him or evading him in the game.
The new Tokyo Ghoul Killer’s power is called the One-Eyed Terror. His special ability, the Kagune Leap, lets players launch tentacles attached to Ken Kaneki, allowing them to attach to any surface and pull him forward.
Following his initial jump, Ken Kaneki gets another chance to jump, this time aiming at a neighboring player. This move could inflict significant damage, so stay cautious if you’re evading the Ghoul.
Enraged mode
As a gamer, I’m excited to share that my character, Ken Kaneki, will gain an “Enraged” mode, acting as a turbo boost! In this state, when Enraged, I can pull off an impressive three back-to-back Kagune Leaps, making me unstoppable on the battlefield.
Whenever I’m struck by a Kagune Leap, a powerful transformation known as the Kagune Mark takes hold, keeping me in an enraged state until I’ve fully recovered. This persistence of the enraged form gives me a significant advantage in battle, allowing me to take down my opponents before they have a chance to heal and regroup.
About Dead by Daylight
In Dead by Daylight, a widely played survival-style video game, four ordinary individuals find themselves pitted against a psychotic antagonist known as the Killer. Their objective is to endure throughout the game and ultimately outwit the Killer. Interestingly, there’s an additional player in this scenario – the Killer itself.
If you’re assigned the role of the Killer, your objective is to outlast and eliminate all four other players within the given time frame.
About Tokyo Ghoul and Ken Kaneki
Ken Kaneki serves as the central character in the widely-known anime series, Tokyo Ghoul. The series ran for just three seasons, wrapping up at the same point as its manga counterpart did.
I, as a fan, delve into the tale of a young man transformed into a Ghoul – a monstrous flesh-eater endowed with extraordinary powers. Tormented by my craving for human blood, I, Ken Kaneki, grapple with the challenge of not resorting to killing humans and discover various means to sustain myself instead.
The show is watchable on various streaming services, including Crunchyroll and more.
