Todd Chrisley reveals jailhouse confrontation with star who ‘talked smack’ about daughter Savannah
Todd Chrisley disclosed that he had encountered disagreement with a highly recognized inmate, who audaciously criticized Todd’s daughter Savannah‘s attempts to help secure his release.
A previously imprisoned individual, aged 56, who received a presidential pardon from Donald Trump recently alongside his wife Julie, criticized the architect of the Varsity Blues college admission scandal, Rick Singer, openly during an interview on Savannah’s Unlocked podcast.
The main characters from the show “Chrisley Knows Best” spent time in prison due to charges related to bank fraud and tax evasion, with Todd Chrisley notably intersecting with a singer at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola.
He was speaking nonsense about Savannah, as that’s when she had begun revealing secrets, just like Barbara Walters, within the [Bureau of Prisons].
‘He began insulting me, so I threatened him, saying, “If you ever mention my child again, I’ll tear your head off and fill it with garbage.” I was serious about that threat.’
By January 2023, singer had been given a sentence of three and a half years imprisonment, following his admission of guilt in 2019 for charges related to racketeering, money laundering, and obstruction.

In a hearing, it was revealed that he admitted to receiving over $25 million in bribes from anxious parents, including famous personalities like Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman, who were desperate to secure spots for their children at prestigious educational institutions across the nation.
By August 2024, he had been transferred to a halfway house close to Los Angeles, where he would complete the remainder of his prison term.
After long years apart, Todd and Julie have reconnected and are now opening up about their feelings in an exclusive interview with ABC News Studios. In this interview, they reminisce about their initial reunion.
‘I was a little nervous,’ Julie, 52, said about her reunion with Todd during the interview.
‘Even though it seems like I’ve been gone for a while, it felt like no time had passed at all when I saw him again.’
Todd, aged 56, expressed that the thought of reunion seemed ‘unusual’ to him, as he hadn’t previously contemplated the notion that he and Julie were ever ‘separate.’
‘And you know for me, it’s just weird, because she was never away from me,’ he explained.
‘Even the whole time we were apart. She was with me every second, every breath that I took.’

Todd went on to say: “When I saw her, it felt as though I could embrace her, yet the sensation was more akin to, ‘I’ve returned home.’
Julie added that there was ‘laughter and tears’ at their reunion, which was filmed.
Todd chimed in, ‘A lot of that came after the cameras were not on.’
Following their lengthy separation, Todd and Julie’s initial shared activity was enjoying a meal with their family.
Todd expressed, “You realize, don’t you, that we have a fresh beginning ahead,” followed by describing returning to his own bed as “a heavenly experience.
Both of them agreed that being able to shower at the leisure, without shower shoes, was thrilling.
‘It was almost like your first sexual encounter. That good,’ Todd joked.
But the most emotional part of coming home was reuniting with their daughter Chloe, 12.
Julie mentioned, “Although we managed to meet during visits, it’s just not the same experience as when you’re at home.
As we traveled back home, she kept an eye on our location via her phone, ensuring she knew exactly how far away I was. To me, that instance felt particularly significant, she added.
More casually, Todd recently divulged the thoughts swirling in his head following their sentencing along with his spouse.
In simpler terms, Todd Chrisley shared with Lara Trump that he vividly recalled a particular night when he and his wife, Julie, were apart for the first time since their marriage. That evening, he was filled with anger towards God, which led him to shed tears and eventually fall asleep as the lights went out.
Chrisley always made it a point to be in his children’s house when they woke up in the morning and when they went to bed at night, he said in reflection.
As a fervent devotee, I can’t help but share this intriguing tale: I endured a sentence of 12 years, eventually reduced to 10, and spent those years within the confines of the Pensacola Federal Prison Camp in sunny Florida. Meanwhile, my beloved wife, Julie, served her own time, three states away at the Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky.
‘And I just said, God, why?’ Chrisley continued. ‘I’ve tried to be a loyal and faithful servant.’
‘Why are you allowing this to happen? You know these things are not true,’ he said.

Investigators argued that the Chrisleys submitted misleading paperwork and inflated financial reports to acquire over $30 million in loans. These funds were then utilized to maintain their extravagant way of life, a lifestyle that was prominently featured on their reality TV show, which ran for an impressive 10 seasons.
In my dream, God appeared to me and told me that I had been placed exactly where I was needed. He also mentioned that if I were ever to depart, others would step up in my place. This is what Chrisley narrated.
Reflecting on that dream now, it becomes clear to me why he remarked “when you depart, they will ascend,” as they are indeed climbing under President Trump. Therefore, I’m thankful for that prophecy.
