Todd Chrisley appears in VERY bizarre video with MAGA Barbie daughter on freedom ride home from jail after Trump pardon
Todd Chrisley quickly resumed his role as a reality TV personality shortly following his release from federal prison, which occurred only hours after President Donald Trump granted him a contentious pardon.
56-year-old celebrity from reality television, along with his spouse Julie (aged 52), emerged from prison on Wednesday following a sentence of nearly two and a half years due to charges of tax evasion and bank fraud amounting to over $30 million.
Savannah shared on her Instagram Story about Todd’s return journey to Nashville, Tennessee, and he seemed thrilled to be in front of the camera again.
In a rather unusual video, the head of the Chrisley family remained hidden behind the screen while joking humorously about being robbed or mugged during his time in prison.
In the back seat of a car, Savannah captured footage of Todd, focusing only from his neck down, while he was seated there with an open bag of cookies, a box of granola bars, and two distinct drinks within easy reach in the cup holder.
As I showed off my sculpted bicep to Savannah, dressed in my black shorts and beige long-sleeve top, I couldn’t help but boastfully suggest she give it a gentle touch.
Later, Savannah stretched her hand towards Todd’s arm muscle and tapped it a few times before admitting to her listeners, “Guys, I’ve got to be honest, this is tough!

As they traveled from Florida to Tennessee, the friend of Savannah who was driving them, Tyler Chase Bishop (also known as her hairstylist), suddenly declared: “Todd is really muscular!
This inspired Savannah to caption her video: ‘@toddchrisley is JACKED’
In a different IG Story clip, Savannah revealed her father’s first words of freedom.
She confessed to her followers that she had vomited multiple times during their trip in the car, without looking at her father the entire time.
Todd, who kept bursting into laughter, exclaimed that he detected Savannah’s vomit before jokingly stating: “I didn’t have to encounter this kind of situation in prison!
The brief appearances of Todd without a face in Savannah’s Instagram Stories generated buzz about the possibility of him attending the White House event on Thursday, potentially being his first public outing since his recent release.
As reported by Fox5, Todd and Julie walked out of their respective prisons around dusk on a Wednesday.
Todd spent his time incarcerated for twelve years at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, whereas Julie served a term of seven years at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Instead of staying at the Chrisleys’ residence in Nashville, Tennessee, Savannah decided to drive over and collect Todd. Meanwhile, their 19-year-old sibling Grayson was on his way to Kentucky to retrieve their mother Julie.
In June 2022, following a nearly three-week long court trial, Todd and Julie were found guilty of collaborating to deceive banks in the Atlanta, Georgia region, resulting in them being denied over $30 million in personal loans through the submission of fraudulent documents.
Additionally, they were convicted for committing wire fraud and tax evasion, hiding their income while presenting an extravagant image through high-end vehicles and fashionable attire.
Initially, these individuals provided fraudulent financial records and various documents to regional banks around Atlanta with the intention of securing huge personal loans. Afterward, they gained fame as television personalities, and used the borrowed funds for extravagant car purchases, high-end fashion, real estate investments, traveling, among other luxury expenses.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel betrayed when I learned that this couple shirked their duty to repay their debts. When Todd filed for bankruptcy, they abandoned their obligations, leaving behind over $20 million in unpaid loans. It’s hard not to question their integrity after such a revelation!
Over the summer, a group of three judges from the 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals confirmed the Chrisley family’s convictions. However, they pointed out an error in the sentencing process for Julie Chrisley. The trial judge had assigned her responsibility for the entire bank fraud case instead of considering it on a case-by-case basis.
The appeals court remanded her case to the lower court for a new sentencing hearing. In October 2024, she was given an 84-month prison sentence at this subsequent hearing.

Approximately a year from then, on May 27, Taylor’s family was taken aback as President Trump made public his choice to grant clemency to both Todd and Julie.
In a surprising move, White House advisor Margo Martin shared a video of the President speaking with Savannah, the couple’s daughter, on social media, accompanied by the caption “Trump Has the Answers!” – a clever reference to the couple’s popular reality TV show title.
Trump expressed to Savannah over the phone that what was happening was truly unfortunate. However, he emphasized that there was a silver lining – her parents would gain their freedom and become clean. He hoped they could accomplish this by the next day, and asked if she was alright with that timeline.
Initially, Julie was expected to remain imprisoned at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky up until January 2028. Similarly, Todd’s incarceration would have extended until April 2032 at FPC Pensacola, as reported by the Palm Beach Post.
‘I don’t know them, but them give my regards,’ Trump also said. ‘Wish them a good life.’
In the recording, Savannah is audible while on a call, expressing gratitude to the president and mentioning that her brother, Grayson, was also on the line with them.
Grayson piped up, ‘Mr. President, I just want to say thank you for bringing my parents back.’
‘Yeah, well, they were given a pretty harsh treatment from what I’m hearing,’ Trump said.
On Wednesday, Trump formally granted the pardons for Todd and Julie, which occurred only a few hours prior to their releases from their respective prisons.
Savannah posted pictures on Instagram showing Trump grinning and granting clemency, while she was waiting outside a Florida prison where her father has been held since 2022.
I too took part in a press gathering where I praised President Trump heartily for granting my parents a complete, unrestricted pardon. This generous act of his has reunited our whole family once more.
The president granted the pardons roughly at 3 PM today, and he is responsible for these actions, involving Alice Johnson and Ed Martin among others,” she informed the audience.
‘They’ve thoroughly examined Todd and Julie’s situation under a magnifying glass, and they’ve uncovered the corrupt elements within it.’
Following Trump’s phone call on Tuesday, Savannah informed that she traveled to Florida and has been standing outside the prison since 2 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
She shared, laughing, that she hadn’t taken anything with her – not even clothes, a toothbrush, or for that matter, anything at all.

‘I’m just a daughter that wants to take my dad home with me.’
In a heartfelt moment, Savannah, donning a pink “Make America Great Again” cap and a coordinating “Women for Trump” jacket, shared that her parents have not communicated, exchanged words, or met face-to-face over the last two and a half years.
As a lifestyle expert, I shared my perspective when queried about Todd and Julie’s response to Trump’s pardon, mentioning that their initial reaction was one of sheer astonishment, left them completely taken aback.
She expressed that they found it hard to accept since the pardon seemed unexpected, almost as if it had fallen from the sky. To clarify, she was on her way to the supermarket when she received a phone call from the president.
In a state of sheer astonishment and profound admiration, I received an unexpected call from no less than the President himself. He graciously shared with me the heartening news that my family, who had been apart for some time, would be reuniting.
She described the call with Trump as a true ‘human to human interaction.’
Indeed, he serves as our president,” Savannah noted, “but it’s important to remember that he’s an individual with feelings and a genuine fondness for others.
Over the past day, I’ve been overwhelmed by both adoration and criticism. Some have speculated, “I can’t help but wonder what sort of actions she took to receive this pardon.” The truth is, I didn’t do a thing for it.
Instead of feeling obligated to take action, I simply needed to uphold my principles and values, defend my parents, and champion justice.
Savannah stated that since taking office, President Trump has provided “hope for a better tomorrow” to all Americans, not just her family.
Many people believe that Trump primarily benefits the rich and those who support him, but in truth, he has provided an opportunity for everyone to improve their lives. For this reason, I will always be thankful.
Savannah was thrilled at the prospect of reminiscing about the past two and a half years with her parents, sharing cherished memories together.
She informed the media that we will be celebrating milestones such as anniversaries, birthdays, and Christmases, among others, as we aim to compensate for the time we’ve missed out on.
Regarding their upcoming business ventures, Savannah made it clear that she, along with her relatives Todd and Julie, are set to make a comeback on television with a fresh reality series.

A brand-new series is set to premiere on Lifetime, and we can’t wait to share its captivating storyline with you!
Based on reports from TMZ, the filming for the new series is now underway. A film crew accompanied Savannah and Grayson during their journey to collect their parents on Wednesday.
According to behind-the-scenes reports, the aftershock of the couple’s surprise is expected to become a central plot point in the series, and scenes showing both Todd and Julie letting go of their shock have been recorded for the show.
Yet, it was asserted by the sources that Trump’s telephone conversation with Savannah on Tuesday eluded LifeTime’s camera team.
Or simply: The sources stated that LifeTime didn’t capture Trump’s call to Savannah on Tuesday.
Initially, the concept for the new family series intended to include brief appearances by Todd and Julia through prison phone conversations, with a significant focus on Savannah and Chase Chrisley managing the family affairs since their parents are serving time.
After the press conference concluded, Savannah posted a picture of herself standing before her father’s jail on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt message expressing her determination to support her loved ones.
The star wrote to her 2.9 million followers about a press conference outside her father’s prison today, sharing that the smile on her face was something she hadn’t seen in years. She described it as the beaming grin of a daughter who refused to surrender, someone who wept quietly, crumbled in court restrooms, and persisted even when the world urged her to resign herself to the situation.
She went on to say: Beneath that smile lies fatigue, pain, countless restless evenings. Yet, it’s more than just a smile; there’s determination, conviction, unwavering faith hidden within as well.
‘I’m a result born from a determined mother and an angry daughter. Let me assure you, there’s nothing more formidable than a woman defending her family.’
Savannah expressed gratitude towards President Trump and his team, acknowledging their role in helping her fulfill a vow she made to her parents – returning them home.
In her own words, she declared that she would bring her parents back home and true to her word, she achieved it. With divine favor, the bravery displayed by President Trump, the kindness shown by Alice Johnson, the honesty of Ed Martin, and the power of the Trump administration—we accomplished what was thought impossible.

This struggle we’re engaged in isn’t confined to us alone. It encompasses each household suffering due to injustice. Each parent, each kid, every individual who has been muffled or crushed by a system that frequently overlooks the human aspect hidden behind the news headlines.
Remember this: Keep on battling, shed tears if necessary, collapse if it’s required. However, never, ever lose faith. Your opinion holds weight; your narrative is significant. And when women stand tall, obstacles will crumble.
In wrapping up her message, Savannah playfully hinted that there’s more to come with the phrase, “We’ve only just begun.” She accompanied her post with the hashtags “#FreedomForAll”, “#JusticeForAll”, “#Pardoned”, “#Trump2025”, and “#FaithOverFear”.
Over the past two and a half years, Savannah has consistently advocated for their parents’ pardon, thereby establishing herself as a prominent figure within pro-MAGA circles.
As a devoted supporter, I had the privilege of participating in two significant political gatherings in 2024: the Republican National Convention and the Conservative Political Action Conference. These events were remarkable for having Trump as the main speaker, with his team and associates present throughout.
She appeared on the sidelines of last month’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Initially, Savannah expressed her thoughts about the Trump pardon news through an Instagram post on Tuesday, following the sharing of a short video clip from their conversation by White House advisor Margo Martin.
She expressed her gratitude to supporters by saying, “President Trump didn’t merely reduce their sentences; instead, he granted them a complete and unconditional pardon. For this act of kindness, I will always be thankful. Thank you, President Trump.
Afterward, Savannah pledged her support to stand alongside Trump’s administration, confronting corruption, and relentlessly advocating for those incarcerated within our prison system.
She expressed that she intends to return the favor of kindness shown to her to everyone she encounters, and for that, she is grateful to have a president like Donald J. Trump.
In simpler terms, Alex Little, the Chrisleys’ lawyer, stated that Donald Trump’s pardon addresses a significant wrong and allows two loving parents who had been separated from their family and community to return.
According to Little, President Trump acknowledged that Todd and Julie had been singled out due to their conservative beliefs and prominent status, as we’ve maintained all along. (This version aims to convey the original message while simplifying the language for easier understanding.)

‘Their prosecution was tainted by multiple constitutional violations and political bias.’
In essence, Todd and Julie’s situation underscores the importance of the presidential pardon. Owing to President Trump, the Chrisley family can now embark on a journey towards recovery and rebuilding their lives.
Nevertheless, the couple’s request for forgiveness sparked strong criticism online, as numerous individuals expressed their dismay by saying ‘justice no longer exists.’
On Reddit, one simply wrote: ‘What a world this is?’
One might trick millions out of their money, avoid paying taxes, yet remain unpunished – simply by flashing a charming smile for the media and eventually receiving clemency.
Echoing a similar sentiment, a third added: ‘There is no justice anymore.’
‘It’s wonderful that they managed to swindle millions from a bank, falsify their tax returns, yet it seems they won’t face any repercussions!’
‘Reality TV grifters have to stick together!’ joked a sixth.
‘Someone wondered: ‘In what way do Republicans/MAGA defend such actions and rest easy, given they’re backing those being pardoned for fraud?”
Fellow reality television star Joe Exotic was also among those who were angered by the pardon.
Presently, Joe is undergoing a 21-year imprisonment at the Federal Medical Center Fort Worth in Texas, due to his involvement in a plot to arrange a paid killing.
He has been fighting for a pardon for the past five years.
On Tuesday, he posted a snapshot from PEOPLE magazine about the Chrisleys’ pardon, accompanied by this comment: “This clearly demonstrates that the justice system remains biased. If you’re wealthy and well-connected, you receive leniency; if you’re not, you’re trapped within it.
To DailyMail.com, he expressed his deepest disappointment, saying, “I’ve never felt this level of disillusionment before, as President Trump grants pardons to individuals who have undeniably committed crimes, while I remain unpardoned.
He added: ‘I sit here innocent with two forms of cancer and can’t get his attention.’

On Wednesday, instead of keeping quiet, Joe posted a public congratulations on Savannah’s most recent Instagram update, directed at the Chrisley family.
‘Congratulations. Hope I am next. But we have to expose the inside of here,’ he wrote.
In addition to Todd and Julie Chrisley, Donald Trump also granted pardons to numerous other people during the course of this week.
On a Wednesday, the pardoning of Michael Grimm, a former congressman from New York City who served until 2015, for his 2014 tax fraud conviction was carried out.
Grimm, the representative from Staten Island, spent seven months behind bars and completed 200 hours of community work as a result of his crime.
In 2014, he managed to secure another term in office, even though he was facing charges for allegedly under-declaring his income from a restaurant he owned. Yet, he stepped down the next year following his admission of guilt.
Previously, Grimm, infamous for his threat to toss a journalist from a balcony at the 2014 State of the Union, had allegations made against him regarding an incident in which he was reportedly involved in a romantic encounter in a bar’s restroom after spending over 15 minutes secluded with a female acquaintance.
In the previous year, I suffered a life-altering accident at a polo tournament where I was left paralyzed from the chest down after being unseated from a horse.
This unfortunate incident has led me to explore and share insights on adaptive lifestyles, drawing upon my personal experiences as well as extensive research. My goal is to help others navigate their own journeys towards resilience and self-discovery.
Previously elected New York City Council Member, Vincent Ignizio, initiated a GoFundMe campaign on behalf of Grimm, aiming to collect $2.5 million in donations towards Grimm’s medical expenses, with the intention of helping him regain the ability to walk.
Additionally, the president granted clemency to a head of a labor union, who admitted guilt for not disclosing gifts received from an ad agency.
James Callahan, hailing from Lindenhurst, New York, served as the head of the International Union of Operating Engineers. During his tenure, he received at least $315,000 worth of tickets for sporting events, concerts, and other perks from a company that frequently advertised with the union, yet he neglected to report these benefits properly.
Judge Ana Reyes had planned to pass a sentence on Callahan this coming Wednesday. Yet, on Tuesday, Callahan’s legal team informed the court about Trump’s complete and unlimited pardon, requesting that the sentencing hearing be canceled.
In early March, it was suggested that Callahan should serve a six-month imprisonment term. They described him as one of the nation’s strongest labor union leaders.
It’s been reported that Callahan’s yearly earnings, including his salary and additional benefits, exceeded half a million dollars. Currently residing in Florida after retirement, he is said to have a wealth surpassing five million dollars, as claimed by the prosecution.
Meanwhile, ex-Chicago gang leader Larry Hoover has had his sentence commuted.
Hoover has been serving multiple life sentences for murder and running a criminal enterprise.
In September, he appeared before a court for the first time in many years, aiming to secure an early release, as reported by the Chicago Tribune.
Prior to his indictment in federal court in 1995, Hoover had been imprisoned by the state for over two centuries due to his conviction for murdering a competitor.
In 1997, he was found guilty for managing his ruthless drug cartel even while incarcerated, resulting in a lifetime imprisonment.
Trump mentioned on Wednesday that he is contemplating issuing pardons for the individuals who conspired to capture Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

In the Oval Office on Wednesday, he expressed that he would examine it, meaning he will closely inspect it. Furthermore, he mentioned that he had observed the trial and his impression was that it seemed somewhat biased or unfair, to put it frankly.
It appeared to him that certain individuals were saying rather foolish things, perhaps due to the influence of alcohol, as he mentioned.
Trump claimed there was bipartisan support for the pardon.
He mentioned that he’s been asked that particular question by numerous individuals, coming from different perspectives. Many believe they were treated unfairly or forced into a decision, while others echo the same sentiment.
In the year 2020, while Trump was serving his initial term as president, six individuals were indicted for plotting to abduct Governor Whitmer.
On Monday, a former Virginia sheriff involved in a cash-for-badges scam had his sentence commuted by Trump.
During the first term of President Trump, Sheriff Scott Jenkins had expressed his support for him. On the campaign trail in Virginia, he was also utilized as a representative or spokesperson.
I’m completely outraged! This sheriff has been unfairly targeted by the overeager DOJ under President Biden, and it’s simply unjust that he could potentially serve even a moment behind bars. #JusticeForSheriff
