The anticipated ITV drama titled “The Hack“, featuring Toby Jones and David Tennant, has offered a thrilling sneak peek.
This show recounts the true events surrounding the phone hacking scandal that occurred at the defunct tabloid, News of the World. Jones and Tennant portray Alan Rusbridger and Nick Davies, two key figures in the story.
In January, anticipation for updates about the seven-part drama had been building among fans, and ITV has responded by confirming via Instagram that the series will appear on television screens very soon.
As a gamer, I was thrilled to see the post showcasing a plethora of images featuring our stellar cast. Jones, Tennant, and Robert Carlyle were all there, making up one fantastic trio. But that’s not all! The impressive lineup also includes Dougray Scott, Rose Leslie, Eve Myles, and Adrian Lester. Can’t wait to see them all in action!
As Jack Thorne, I can attest that the series we co-created with Annalisa D’Innella is a thrilling battle for truth. It’s not just a straightforward narrative; it’s a labyrinthine piece of our recent past, filled with layers upon layers waiting to be uncovered.

Initially, given my political inclination, I believed I grasped every detail of the situation. However, I was mistaken. The revelation of what truly transpired left me utterly astounded. That’s why it’s crucial to share this narrative today, a time when truth seems more endangered than ever.
It’s truly a privilege to adapt this tale for the big screen… I aim to convey the intricacy of the events accurately and pay tribute to the remarkable journalism that lies beneath.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but get excited about the upcoming series, though we don’t have a release date yet. Back in March, Tennant gave us a sneak peek into his character by saying: “[The filming] was incredibly intense due to all the intricate details and complex information involved.
I’m portraying a detective who uncovered a complex mystery, and much of it is quite detailed and precise. Since there are legal professionals scrutinizing my words to ensure accuracy, I need to be meticulous in my explanations.
The Hack will air on ITV.
The latest print edition from Digital Spy, titled “Oasis – Live in ’25”, is available for purchase! You can find it at your local newsstands or buy it online, currently selling for only £8.99.
