Calling Death Valley fans! The BBC has finally shared an update on season two.
Production has officially started on the charming crime drama series featuring Timothy Spall. This week, cameras will roll in Wales for filming.
On this memorable day, the broadcaster revealed a fresh snapshot featuring Spall alongside fellow actor Gwyneth Keyworth. In the image, they’re both excitedly brandishing a clapperboard, ready to dive into their upcoming project.

In addition, for season two, we have the return of Steffan Rhodri and Melanie Walters from Gavin and Stacey, portraying characters DCI Barry Clarke (Janie’s boss) and Yvonne Mallowan (her mother with a dominating presence). Also joining the cast are Helen Baxter as Alexandria Riley and Rithvik Andugula as DC Evan Chaudhry.
