Timothée Chalamet chops off signature locks in hair transformation

Timothée Chalamet has debuted a new haircut, chopping off his signature locks.

This week at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, the actor from Dune displayed his fresh appearance. He was bestowed with the Arlington Artist of the Year Award for his performances in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown and Dune: Part Two.

The pictures taken at the event show that Chalamet sported a pixie-like hairstyle, featuring shorter lengths on the back and sides, with a cluster of fringes upfront.

In the past month, the actor has been recognized with an Academy Award nomination for his role in the movie “A Complete Unknown“. This film first premiered on Christmas Day in the United States and subsequently debuted in the UK last month.

The movie details Bob Dylan’s formative years as an aspiring musician in bustling New York City, chronicling his journey from an unknown songwriter to a trailblazer of the folk-rock genre after his groundbreaking performance at the Newport Folk Festival.

In this production, Edward Norton shares the screen as the admired figure Pete Seeger, while Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro embody Sylvie Russo and Joan Baez, who are Dylan’s romantic interests.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that the film titled “Marty Supreme“, featuring Chalamet, will hit US cinemas in December this year.

Initially, the movie was intended as a biography centered around the unconventional table tennis player Marty Reisman; however, it appears that the storyline has evolved to resemble films like “Catch Me If You Can” and “The Wolf of Wall Street,” with only a loose connection to Reisman’s real life.

Tyler, the Creator, Gwyneth Paltrow, Fran Drescher and comedian Sandra Bernhard will also star.

Timothée Chalamet will once again take on the character of Paul Atreides in director Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming third film adaptation of Frank Herbert’s “Dune,” titled “Dune Messiah.” This movie is expected to hit theaters next year.
