TiMi Studio Group and Capcom are letting players try out their new game, Monster Hunter Outlanders, with a closed beta test starting after mid-November on Android and iOS. This exploration action survival RPG is based on the popular Monster Hunter series. It was announced in November 2024, but work on it actually began back in 2022.

Monster Hunter Outlanders is a cooperative survival game set within the Monster Hunter world. Players can explore varied landscapes, fend off dangerous creatures, create equipment, and experience the excitement of hunting monsters – just like in the original games.

The new trailer really got me excited! It shows off a mysterious island where the game takes place, and promises fast-paced combat with lots of monsters. They’re bringing back classic weapons, but with some cool new features. I especially liked how they presented the main character, known simply as the Adventurer.

Having been a fan of the series, I think players will really enjoy what’s on offer here. I’m especially excited to try out the different Adventurers and their unique abilities, as well as their companions – including the exclusive Rutaco and Trillan, and the ever-reliable Palico. I’m also curious to see how challenging the new Radiant Species will be.

Great news for Monster Hunter fans! Closed beta testing for Monster Hunter Outlanders is coming to Android and iOS in select regions after mid-November. Registration for this limited-space test is open now until November 7th, and invitations will be sent out five days after registration closes.
