TiMi Studio Group and Capcom are letting players try out their new game, Monster Hunter Outlanders, with a closed beta test starting after mid-November on Android and iOS. This exploration action survival RPG is based on the popular Monster Hunter series. It was announced in November 2024, but work on it actually began back in 2022.

Monster Hunter Outlanders is a cooperative, open-world survival game set within the Monster Hunter world. Players can explore varied landscapes, fight off dangerous monsters, create equipment and tools, and experience the excitement of traditional monster hunting.

The new trailer really got me excited! It shows off a mysterious island where the game takes place, and promises thrilling battles against tons of monsters. They’re bringing back classic weapons, but with some cool new features. I also appreciated the introduction of the main character, known simply as the Adventurer.

Having followed this series for a while, I think fans are really going to enjoy what’s new here. I’m especially excited to play as the different Adventurers, each with unique abilities, and team up with their companions – including the exclusive Rutaco and Trillan, as well as the always-helpful Palico. I’m also curious to see how challenging the new Radiant Species will be.

Great news for Monster Hunter fans! The closed beta test for Monster Hunter Outlanders is coming to Android and iOS devices in select regions after mid-November. Sign-ups for this limited-space test are open now until November 7th, and invitations will be sent out 5 days after registration closes.
