Tilda Swinton, renowned for her timeless beauty, graced the Haus Nowhere Seoul pre-opening event held at IICOMBINED in South Korea on a Wednesday, displaying her ageless charm.

The Oscar-winning actress, 64, flashed her slender frame in a figure-hugging blue dress.

For the event, the star decided to go without makeup and confidently strolled through the venue wearing a stunning, draped dress.

Earlier this year, Tilda announced she would be taking a break from ‘merciless’ movie-making.

After receiving the esteemed Golden Bear Lifetime Achievement Award at the Berlin Film Festival, she revealed her unexpected news several hours later.

At a recent press conference, the Scottish actress expressed her excitement about taking on a new challenge that she has been eager to pursue for the past fifteen years.

She informed the media in Berlin that she needs some time off, which she intends to take. Everyone understands that filmmaking can be harsh and demanding, and she has been working hard for quite some time.

On Monday, when I return home to Scotland, I’ll be stepping into an eagerly anticipated chapter of my life that I’ve longed for over the past fifteen years. This phase will mark a departure from my usual routine and offer me something fresh and new.

‘I can’t quite say what it is, but I can say I’m not shooting a film for the rest of this year.’

She added: ‘I want time to develop projects, some are in cinema, some are not, but I need time.’

For over two decades, the highly respected actress has consistently worked in the industry following her first big-screen appearance in Derek Jarman’s art movie “Caravaggio” in 1986.

In 2007 she won an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category of her role in Michael Clayton. 

She made an impassioned speech on stage whilst accepting her latest award.

In a speech, Tilda expressed her advocacy for an autonomous cinematic nation, often referred to as the “free world of filmmaking,” and emphasized its inherent inclusivity, resilience against control tactics such as occupation, colonization, appropriation, real estate acquisition, or the transformation into a luxurious resort area.
