TikTok star Tini Younger gives heartbreaking update after one of her twin baby girls died during birth

Just weeks after the heartbreaking loss of one of her twin daughters, Tineke ‘Tini’ Younger is sharing an emotional update with her fans.

The 24-year-old, who appeared on Next Level Chef and married Antoine Wright Jr. in November 2024, recently shared the heartbreaking news that one of her twin daughters, Arya, passed away shortly after being born due to a problem with the placenta.

Now she’s sharing news about her surviving daughter, whom she calls L.

Tini shared photos of her newborn, L, on Instagram Friday and announced that the baby is doing well. She also expressed her deep love for her little one.

She said they remind their daughter about Arya every day, and that Arya often appears in her dreams while she’s sleeping. She also mentioned that L loves to smile even while she’s asleep.

Tini recently explained her absence from social media, sharing that she’s focusing on healing both emotionally and physically. She’s been dealing with some health issues following her pregnancy and is still recovering.

She ended the post by thanking everyone who ‘sends love.’ 

Even though this is a very sad time, she let fans know that Arya’s twin sister is recovering well and is now able to breathe without assistance. She also emphasized that Arya will always be remembered, and her sister will be raised knowing she had a loving twin.

The popular social media personality announced the heartbreaking loss of her beloved daughter on Instagram and Facebook in a moving post on November 26th.

I never imagined I’d be sharing this news, but sadly, we lost our precious baby girl, Arya (Baby A), earlier this week,” Younger wrote.

We were nearing the end of our pregnancy, almost at 36 weeks, and excited to meet our babies. Sadly, I experienced a placental abruption, and we lost our sweet daughter.

Placenta abruption occurs when the placenta detaches from the uterine wall, either partially or completely, before childbirth, according to the Mayo Clinic.

This serious complication can cut off or reduce the baby’s oxygen and nutrient supply, and cause significant bleeding for the mother.

Younger then shared that her other baby girl is ‘doing really good and breathing on her own.

Both sisters are beautiful, and Arya will always be cherished. Her twin sister knows she has a beautiful sibling.

She also posted several black and white photos, including one of her and her husband looking down at what seemed to be a picture of their daughter who had passed away.

As a lifestyle expert, I was so excited to see that Younger announced she was expecting back in June! She shared the adorable news with a video, playfully captioning it ‘Putting a bun(s) in the oven.’ It was such a cute and creative way to let everyone know she’s growing her family!

She and her husband decided to make buns from scratch, realizing they needed an extra pair of hands. ‘This is definitely a two-person job,’ she said, ‘Let’s get Antoine to help!’

The couple shared another post confirming the news, this time showing them holding miniature sweatshirts that said ‘Sous Chef’ on the front.

Sitting on the counter was a sign announcing the arrival of two new sous chefs in 2025.

Younger and Antoine held big smiles on their faces in the photo as they glanced over at each other. 

The following month in July, they also revealed that they were expecting twin baby girls. 

Last October, Younger shared with People magazine that she considers her twin daughters to be perfect, and also discussed her Thanksgiving plans.

‘I’m just going to bring a chair with me,’ she told the outlet. 

I already own a small kitchen stool, but Thanksgiving is when I really shine – especially during the holidays. People always visit my page for my recipes around that time.

The chef said at the time, ‘I’m going to keep going, and I’ll just stay seated because that’s what helps me focus.’

I’ve been following Younger for a while now, and her cooking videos are fantastic! She’s really gained a following, especially with recipes like her macaroni and cheese – it actually went viral, which is amazing! I’m always excited to see what she comes up with next.
