TikTok star Tineke “Tini” Younger, 24, reveals death of one of her twin baby daughters after suffering ‘placenta abruption’

TikTok personality Tineke Younger, known as Tini, shared the devastating news of her twin baby daughter’s passing following a placental abruption.

On Wednesday, the 24-year-old shared heartbreaking news on Instagram and Facebook, announcing the loss of her beloved pet, whom she affectionately called her ‘sweet girl’.

The chef, married to Antoine Wright Jr. since November 2024, revealed she was expecting a baby in June.

I never imagined I’d be sharing this news, but sadly, we lost our precious baby girl, Arya (Baby A), earlier this week,” Younger wrote.

We were nearing the end of the pregnancy, almost at 36 weeks, and excited to meet our babies. Sadly, I experienced a placental abruption, and we lost our sweet daughter.

Placenta abruption occurs when the placenta detaches from the uterine wall, either partially or completely, before childbirth, according to the Mayo Clinic.

This serious complication can cut off or reduce the baby’s oxygen and nutrient supply and cause significant bleeding for the mother.

Younger then shared that her other baby girl is ‘doing really good and breathing on her own.

Both sisters are beautiful, and Arya will always be cherished. Her sister is aware she has a twin, and that twin is equally beautiful.

Oh my gosh, you guys, she just posted that she’s taking a break from TikTok! A BREAK! She didn’t say how long, which is KILLING me, but she did say she’ll be back, and she said she loves us! ❤️ I’m trying not to panic, honestly. It’s going to be so quiet without her videos, but knowing she’ll return is… everything. I just hope it’s not too long! I’m already counting down the days!

She also posted several black and white photos, including one of her and her husband with their daughter, Arya.

Earlier this year, in June, Younger revealed she was pregnant with a playful announcement on video, captioning it ‘Putting a bun(s) in the oven.’

She and her husband then decided to bake buns together, realizing they needed an extra pair of hands. ‘Let’s get Antoine to help,’ she said. ‘This is definitely a job for two people.’

The couple shared more about the news with a post showing them holding miniature sweatshirts that said ‘Sous Chef’ on the front.

Sitting on the counter, they had a sign displayed between them that said, ‘2 sous chefs coming in 2025.’

Younger and Antoine held big smiles on their faces in the photo as they glanced over at each other.

The following month in July, they also revealed that they were expecting twin baby girls.

Last October, Younger shared with People magazine that she considers her twin daughters to be perfect, and she also discussed her Thanksgiving plans.

‘I’m just going to bring a chair with me,’ she told the outlet.

I already own a small kitchen stool, but Thanksgiving is really my specialty – especially during the holidays. People always visit my page for my recipes.

The chef said at the time, ‘I’m determined to keep going, and I’ll just stay seated because that helps me focus.’

Younger creates cooking videos, and some have become very popular online, like her recipe for macaroni and cheese.

On TikTok, she has 12 million followers while she also has 2.2 million fans on Instagram.
