TikTok star Sopha Dopha reveals shock new look after surgery: ‘Feels like I’ve been hit by a bus’

On Thursday, Sophia Begg (formerly known as Sopha Dopha) unveiled a fresh, surprising appearance after undergoing a procedure on her mouth.

The young TikTok sensation, aged 21, shared pictures and clips on her social platforms, chronicling the procedure of extracting her four wisdom teeth.

Nevertheless, after undergoing a demanding process, it seemed the influencer experienced some discomforting side-effects, notably significant swelling near her jaw area.

Sofia uploaded a detailed video chronicling her personal encounter, where she included clips of herself weeping following the administration of potent pain medication prior to the operation.

Sofa snuggled close to her mom during the dental appointment, admitting she felt apprehensive and explaining that the medication administered caused her legs to tremble involuntarily.

‘Mum had to lay on them to keep them still,’ she added.

Approximately five minutes into it, I experienced my initial panic attack. I believe it was due to the surge of adrenaline, causing me to suddenly lose my ability to read as a result of the medication.

They swiftly soothed my agitation and carried on with the process. I cranked up some tunes using my noise-cancelling earphones, and before I knew it, thirty minutes had passed, and I was finished.

I was incredibly distraught, heavily influenced by the medication, and feeling quite disoriented. I was deeply affected, with my body trembling and experiencing a brief but intense bout of anxiety.

Sofia continued, explaining that her mother took her back home, and there, she had a somewhat frightening encounter as she attempted to take her initial dose of antibiotics for the first time.

Footage saw her tipping her head back as she struggled to get down several pills. 

As a die-hard admirer, I can tell you that my idol took every measure to ensure her healing process was as tranquil as a summer’s breeze. She spent those precious hours lying in bed, icing her cherished face, all while enjoying the laughter-filled episodes of Modern Family alongside her beloved boyfriend, Simon Collis.

After about six more hours passed, Sopha finally tried to eat, expressing her fear of making a mistake and needing to consult her doctor for guidance.

In due course, Sopha demonstrated videos where she consumed modest portions of yogurt by squeezing it into the back of her tongue with a portable pouch to bypass her teeth.

The next morning, Sofia awoke feeling terrible due to a pounding headache since it had been quite some time since she last took her pain medication and she was past its due date. This occurred around 6 o’clock in the morning.

‘I think I got three hours of sleep all broken up,’ she said. 

Later on, Sophia posted selfies on Instagram, revealing that her jaw had doubled in size. She was trying to reduce the swelling with an iced chin bandage.

She mentioned that she isn’t experiencing acute pain, but instead, an intense discomfort, with her face feeling particularly tender, as if she had been struck by a vehicle. Currently, she can only manage to consume yogurt due to this condition.

Last Wednesday, Sopha captivated the crowd as she led a fashionable team of models in the debut of Léays lingerie. Exactly one week later, she underwent dental surgery.
