Kaelin Bradshaw, who gained over 99,000 TikTok followers by bravely documenting her fight with a rare cancer of the bile ducts, has passed away. She received her diagnosis less than a year ago.
The 29-year-old Florida influencer died Monday morning, surrounded by family, her husband Austin announced on Wednesday.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw the video he posted. He said she wasn’t suffering, that she was peacefully holding his hand right until the very end. He said she passed away at 1:27 a.m. on Monday, and it just… broke me. It’s like he was trying to show us she wasn’t alone, even in those last moments. I keep replaying it, needing to know she wasn’t in pain.
She shared on a GoFundMe page created this month that she was diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct cancer less than a year ago.
In a video she shared earlier this year, she mentioned first feeling sick back in October 2024.
Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare cancer of the bile ducts, develops in the tubes that carry digestive fluids from the liver and gallbladder to the small intestine. It’s most often diagnosed in people over 50, according to the Mayo Clinic.

He shared that Kaelin was heartbroken when she received her diagnosis, but immediately resolved to fight it. She vowed to both him and the family that she would never give up.
She kept her word, but sadly, her illness got worse and her body couldn’t fight it anymore, he explained.
He continued, explaining that she wasn’t suffering and that our whole family filled her room with love and support.
He explained that she always had support throughout the process. Her family and he were constantly there for her, offering help from behind the scenes and always within hearing distance.
He expressed his gratitude to her supporters for standing by her, and said she was deeply thankful for the chance to fight for her life.
Only a few weeks before, on October 11th, she shared a heartfelt video explaining that a recent MRI had revealed her liver tumor had grown.
Soon after, she revealed she had been moved to hospice care and sadly told her fans that her body needed to rest and recover, meaning she could no longer receive chemotherapy.
She explained, tears welling up, that she’d had to sign a do-not-resuscitate order to be eligible for this, recalling that she’d actually signed one in her twenties.

She last posted on October 16th, sharing a TikTok video that encouraged people to visit her GoFundMe page.
She created the page to help cover expenses for her and her husband, preparing for any financial challenges they might face in the future.
I was so touched to learn everything he’d done for me. He’d actually sold his boat and truck just to help cover my medical bills, and on top of that, he was working two jobs! It really showed me how much he cared.
She shared that he’s been by her side every night during her hospital stay, all while working two jobs. He went above and beyond, even selling his truck and boat to help with their financial difficulties.
She added that she wanted to relieve some of his stress so he could simply enjoy being with her.
We’re planning a trip together as soon as my doctor says it’s okay to begin my next round of treatment, and we want to make sure we’ve saved enough money by then.
