Benjamin Gleason, known for his TikTok videos, was arrested in New York on Friday following allegations of sexual assault.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the 39-year-old social media influencer was arrested on March 20th and faces multiple felony charges related to sexual assault.

Legal documents show Gleason is facing two rape charges, among other criminal accusations.

Gleason also faces several serious sexual assault charges, including forcible rape, first-degree sexual abuse, aggravated sexual abuse, and sexually assaulting multiple people.

According to documents reviewed by TMZ, the social media influencer faces a charge related to sexual acts committed with someone who couldn’t give consent.

The Daily Mail has contacted the Columbia County Jail in Hudson, New York, seeking more information about this story.

Hailing from Campbell Island, New York, Gleason has gained a large following on TikTok, with over 1.1 million followers. He describes himself on the platform as an American artist and ‘your girlfriend’s favorite influencer’.

He has around 31,000 followers on Instagram, where he presents himself as a performer, audio-visual production specialist, musician, and someone still figuring things out.

Gleason shares his life on social media, posting videos of himself singing, lip-syncing, and openly talking about his experiences with borderline personality disorder.

Earlier this month, Gleason started a GoFundMe campaign hoping to raise $6,000 for necessary dental work. He says his teeth were severely damaged due to past struggles with substance abuse.

In a post from March 6th, Benjamin Gleason explained he’s asking for assistance with dental work to address issues caused by years of battling addiction.

After being sober for two years, Gleason explained that the damage to his teeth from his past addiction is something he needs help to repair.

The online influencer spoke about the toll it took on his self-esteem.

Gleason, a TikTok influencer with over a million followers, says his biggest joy comes from connecting with people and sharing positive vibes. However, he feels he can’t fully express himself until he addresses his teeth.

Gleason explained that he struggles to smile and show happiness, which has made him feel ashamed and deeply saddened. He also shared that he can’t afford the necessary dental work to fix the problem right now, as the costs are too high.
