TikTok comedian Steve Bridges has died aged 41.

Bridges, a popular creator known for his unique ‘point-of-view’ comedy videos, died peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday. He had over 2.1 million followers on the platform where he shared his work.

His wife, Chelsey, confirmed his death in a moving video, explaining that his passing was unexpected. They had been married for 16 years.

She also mentioned that Bridges, a father of three, was trying to live a healthier life, but he had experienced the loss of three family members at young ages.

Chelsey apologized for delivering the news this way, explaining she worried she wouldn’t be able to say it at all if she waited any longer.
