Thunderbolts Stars SHOCKED by Avengers: Doomsday Secrets!

In a new twist for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Multiverse Storyline, Marvel Studios is being extra cautious to prevent any spoilers from leaking. The secrecy is so tight that stars David Harbour and Wyatt Russell aren’t even aware of each other’s filming schedules for the upcoming Avengers sequel.

Discussing with Ke Huy Quan (Harbour) and Chris Pratt (Russell), they explored the topic of Doomsday and the extent of their knowledge regarding the Phase Six film, which started shooting in the U.K. towards the end of last month. Intriguingly, Harbour expressed his surprise at the recent live stream cast reveal for Doomsday, learning alongside fans about his and his co-stars’ confirmed roles in the highly anticipated superhero blockbuster. Due to the tight secrecy surrounding Doomsday, Harbour admitted that he remains unaware of when Pratt and other Thunderbolts actors will join him on set.

He stated, “We’re still trying to figure each other out,” instead of saying, “We can’t even tell each other.” Additionally, he shared his enthusiasm about collaborating with Robert Downey Jr., who is set to portray Doctor Doom in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Doomsday. He added, “[laughs] There’s a guy named Robert Downey Jr. I’m eager to share a scene with him… To be honest, I was just as amazed and taken aback by that chair reveal moment as everyone else. I remember thinking, ‘He’s in this movie? Wow!’

Harbour also shared that he didn’t have a plot or script to follow during the casting unveil of “Doomsday”. Russell added to the mystery, hinting that he and his co-stars were clueless about what was happening since things were constantly changing. He said, “I know it changed approximately a thousand times, and it’s still evolving.” In other words, they have to stay alert because they never know what’s coming next. As he put it, “I don’t really know what’s going on, but when I get a call, it’s like ‘The eagle is flying north tonight’. So I need to hop on a plane.

As a movie reviewer, I’m thrilled to share that many of the stars from the anticipated film, “Thunderbolts,” were present at the recent “Doomsday” casting event. Among them were Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Hannah John-Kamen, and Lewis Pullman. However, it seems Olga Kurylenko and another main cast member (whose name has yet to be revealed) were not confirmed for “Doomsday.” Yet, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige hinted at their potential involvement in the future. The exciting news is that “Doomsday” will bring together the Thunderbolts with other powerhouse teams such as The Fantastic Four, The Wakandans, and the X-Men.

In the movie “Thunderbolts”, Harbour once again takes on his character, Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, while Russell plays John Walker/U.S. Agent. The story sees Red Guardian and Walker joining forces with other antiheroes such as Yelena Belova/White Widow (Pugh), Ava Starr/Ghost (John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Kurylenko) and others, after they find themselves in a perilous predicament orchestrated by CIA director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Louis-Dreyfus). Additionally, Pullman’s character, The Sentry/The Void, appears with a sinister twist, while Stan reprises his role as the government official who effectively leads the Thunderbolts team.
