‘Thunderbolts*’ Director Sparks Outrage After Revealing Disturbing Villain Inspiration
The upcoming movie “Thunderbolts” is nearly ready for its theater debut, and it seems set for a successful run at the box office. It has garnered a respectable rating on Rotten Tomatoes with initial reviews. However, director Jake Schreier finds himself in a controversial situation after disclosing his creative process and revealing one of the movie’s grim inspirations. The team, consisting of Red Guardian (David Harbour), US Agent (Wyatt Russel), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), and Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), will confront the powerful villain Sentry (Lewis Pullman), one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most formidable antagonists to date.
