“Thrilling” David Thewlis period drama with a twist reveals first look at “adrenaline-pumping” return

Disney+ has given fans a sneak peek at season two of The Artful Dodger, its exciting historical drama. David Thewlis is back as Fagin in the new season, which promises plenty of action and will begin streaming on Disney+ on February 10th.

The new Australian series features Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Jack Dawkins, better known as The Artful Dodger, and Maia Mitchell as Lady Belle Fox.

Created by James McNamara, this show is a sequel to Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist, taking place 15 years later. It centers on Dodger, now a surgeon in 1850s Australia, who still occasionally turns to crime.
